Bio and Links
I am an amateur genealogist and have found one of the best ways for me to collect hints on my family is to walk cemeteries. I currently live in California but many of the cemeteries I have walked are in Alabama. I take pictures of all the markers in cemeteries where I find ancestors. It is simply quicker than trying to write details down in the cemetery. If you have a Biography for one of the entries I would be happy to post it as well. I am not a typist and hopefully have not made tooooo many typos but if you see one please let me know so I can fix it
I am not related to many of the people I have added; entries are posted in the interest of genealogy and history, and the hope that someone will add my lost ancestors.

I will no longer do mass transfers of everyone with a specific surname in a cemetery. I will continue to add cemetery surveys as time allows.

Please use the "Suggest a change" link on the edit tab of a memorial to suggest changes or request transfers.

RE: Mt Carmel Cemetery in Wilcox County, Alabama
Thanks, Eric. Averitte (1775-1845) and Aretha "Amity"Lovett (?- 1828 or even 1815) Watson. That death date really helps. That is as far back as I can go but if I run into the counties you mentioned, I will know who to contact.

Wrong Cemetery - Pauline Mary Cipolla Daley #31758639
Hi, Eric,

Just received an email from the Grandson of Pauline Mary Cipolla Daley and discovered that the cemetery listed in her Memorial #31758639 is incorrect. Please change the cemetery from Calvary Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum to Queen of Heaven Cemetery, in Rowland Heights, California. (That explains that my Photo Request for Gravestone could not be fulfilled ... it was the wrong cemetery). Here is her Obituary - you may wish to add it or info to her Bio in her Memorial. Thank You! If you want to transfer her Memorial to me, that would work, too, and I will add her Obit. I would love to be the manager of her Memorial. My FindAGrave Member Number is #47442600. If you choose not to transfer her Memorial, that is OK, of course. Thank You.

William Clay Sheffield Sr 25333111
1. WCS Jr is listed as a son. I cannot find him with the Find A Grave #4272962 listed. Do you know where he is buried?

2. Under the siblings category, It appears you have William Clay Sheffield listed as his own sibling.

Thanks, Jim Cason #46980393
