If I don't respond to a request for transfer it means I prefer to retain the memorial.

In the event a photo of a headstone is not included, it generally means that the memorial information was taken from a cemetery transcription or death record. One of those who did the transcription was Elizabeth C. Curtis. Without her efforts cemeteries such as Trinity United Methodist and Old Third Central Presbyterian Cemetery records would not be included or available since neither of the above church exists today, including the cemetery and headstones. I found out on January 21, 2010 that internment's of Old Third Central Presbyterian Church Cemetery have been moved to Riverview Memorial cemetery in Charleston.

Some of the headstones at the Circular Church were impossible to read, however the church had previously documented many of the graves sites by plot #'s. In those cases where I could not read the headstone I used the information from the church records found at the Charleston library to identify the headstones. I did list the plots #'s on the majority of the memorials.

A special thanks to the work of Clare Jervey published in 1906 with the transcription of St. Michael's. Her transcription allowed me to include much that was unreadable.

RE: John McCrady
I inquired about finding the McCrady graves online before our trip there. The lady in the office sent me the listing of burials by email. I would be glad to send that to you, if you will give me your email.

I descend from Edward McCrady to John McCrady to Edward McCrady to John McCrady (the one in question) to Rev. Edward McCrady to Sarah deBerniere McCrady- my grandmother.

I agree that the obituary says he will be buried in Sewanee. I wonder if he was taken back to Charleston since his parents and grandparents were there, and there were no previous family members buried in Sewanee.I can't imagine that he would be listed in the St Philips books, if he weren't there. We may never know!

Are you a descendant of the McCrady line?

RE: John McCrady
I was in Charleston last week and found it in the records at St. Philip's office. I made copies of the graveyard map, and I have a digital copy of the burials there. There is a McCrady plot in which there are some unmarked graves. Those unmarked are for Louisa Rebecca (Mrs. Edward) McCrady died 1877, John McCrady 10/15/1881, and a double grave for Edward McCrady 1794 and Elizabeth Campbell (Mrs. Edward) McCrady 1796. This last one is partly under a current sidewalk, according to the map. Hope this helps!

Birthdate for Luella Grice Littell at Kensico is listed as 1555. It's 1855. I have sent the edit. However, this means there will be two entries. Can this be fixed?

Memorial # 154090805
Good afternoon,

While working on my Family Tree, I have found this memorial for Carrie Curnow. If you would be willing to transfer this memorial to me, I will be happy to complete sourcing. There are others in her family as well that I can assist with.
Frank Gould Curnow #154090788
Henry Curnow #154090846
Louise Curnow # 154090894.

Also according to cemetery records there is George Curnow 1893-1947, buried in the same plot as above Henry. I can create a Memorial for him as well unless one exists that I'm not finding. I am family, but not close family. It has taken me 3 years to track these people down with very few clues to go on, Your consideration is much appreciated. My Find A Grave member # is 48461265 Thank You and enjoy your day.
