I have been doing genealogy research on my family (Cocker, Maier, Peak & Sayers) for 30 years or so - mostly from Philadelphia. Within the past few years I have also been working on identifying and photographing the burial locations of Delaware Civil War veterans, Delaware Spanish American War veterans, and US Colored Troops (Civil War) veterans who were from Delaware. With this info I am helping to populate on-line databases. I am also a member of The Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania, Delaware Genealogical Society, Delaware Historical Society, and the Board of Directors of Friends of Historic Riverview Cemetery (Wilmington).|
If you note any errors in any of my listings, please feel free to contact me. Also, I will be happy to transfer any of the memorial pages that I created, just let me know. Any of the photos that I have added to Find A Grave may be used for genealogical purposes.

Thanks for checking for her grave. I was afraid that her grave was left unmarked, as they were very poor. But, I appreciate you taking the time. Again, thanks.

Thank you so very much for all the dedication and hard work you put in as a volunteer. I don't know if you would be interested but my grandfather was in the Spanish American War and he later was one of the hundreds of engineers in the Panama Canal.
I'm available for questions and data requests.
Again, I am most grateful for all that you give.

I noticed in your bio that you are interested in Delaware Spanish American War vets.
I don't know if you're just looking to make sure their graves are photographed or if you are making a list... but 2 of my great-uncles were born in Delaware and were in the SA war.
They had moved just across the border and enlisted in Pennsylvania, and their graves have already been photographed, so I'm not sure if you're interested in them or not.
In case you are...
William Henry Prescott - 17324714 (no identification of SA War at his grave)
Joseph Mitchell Prescott - 40257639 (military gravestone)
Both graves are in Lawn Croft Cemetery in Linwood, near the Delaware border.

Thank you for trying to find stones that aren't there to photograph at Lillie Talley's and Roseanna Fesmire's graves.
I appreciate both your speed and the grave locations you did find.
I have deleted those photo requests.

Thank you for letting me know there is no marker for him, I have noted it on his page.

Would you like a different picture of the two other Puali's in St. Marys Cemetery--I can take it looking directly at it. Let me know.
|Maryanne61||James Andre Pennington, Find A Grave Memorial# 130211904|
Find a Grave web site notiifed me that you were unable to find a headstone or marker for my cousin relative, James Andre Pennington, Memorial# 130211904. Thank you for inquiring at the cemetery office, and providing me the info that James is buried in Lot 1081 with no marker. I am compiling family history on Ancestry, and I live in Utah, obviously not nearby, though I did grow up in Philadelphia, PA.
I was at St Marys Cemetery in Williamstown, NJ to look for the two requests for Pauli. I looked through the whole cemetery and didn't find Peter and Theresa Pauli's marker. I did take a picture of Katie and Peter's grave marker--to the right of that marker is an area empty of any markers. Could Peter and Theresa be buried next to Katie and Paul but have no marker? If you would like that picture, let me know.

Might be of interest that in the plot next to James is Maggie Webster-Sayers the first wife of James' son Bernard. Bernard and Maggie's daughter Margaret is most likely buried with her mother. Maggie and Margaret died in 1913.
|DanCornett||RE: Bucktoe - William Jackson|
FYI: The reason there were some duplicate memorial for the Bucktoe Cemetery is that the original cemetery name & location did not reflect the current cemetery name (and location), so it did not show up in a search for that cemetery.
Later, those two cemetery entries were recognized as being the same and request was made to consolidate them. That took a while.
Most of the duplicates have been resolved (though not all the GPS coordinates added...)
