Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing Find-a-Grave for a while now and have decided to change my bio a bit.

Here are my thoughts on this stuff.

Relax..enjoy what you're doing otherwise you should stop before you get too far into it. No man is an island and this certainly can't be done alone. Rather than complain about someone's them with it...and STOP THE RUDENESS!

TRANSFERS: I will only transfer relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. RUDENESS WILL NOT GET THE MEMORIAL TO YOU ANY FASTER

PICTURES: If I've taken a picture or attached a document ... please help need to give me credit. I don't need to toot my horn or have it tooted. I've added them to the memorials for everyone to use. If you want to attach a picture to my memorials that are better than mine...please do so. I welcome them, but keep in mind I might use them in if they're in my family tree. MY ONLY REQUEST IS THAT MY PICTURES AREN'T LIFTED AND PLACED ONTO A DUPLICATE MEMORIAL OR MEMORIAL LISTED AS UNKNOWN....thanks again in advance.

EDITS: If there are errors in any of the memorials that I've entered please let me know. I'll be glad to correct them as well as make any changes necessary. PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON.

FLOWERS: PLEASE PLEASE don't use the flower section as a place to add a bio for the memorial...that isn't where it belongs. If I happen to come across one on a memorial that I've created, I will ask you to remove it. I'll gladly add it to the bio...just send me an EDIT. If it isn't deleted in a timely amount of time I will ask to remove it.

DUPLICATES: Duplicates's impossible not to happen. We've all created duplicates. I will gladly delete mine IF IT WAS CREATED AFTER YOUR MEMORIAL. Please keep in mind that some duplicate memorials are actually cenotaphs.

It's hard for me to understand that these memorials belong to any one person....I believe they belong to "all" of us.

A sincere THANK YOU to all the Find a grave volunteers for all the hard work, help and dedication that you've given me.

RE: Transfers
I'm beginning to work some cemeteries....but I'll go there to do my job, then take 100 pictures and process. My plan is to transfer when I know I'm done with a location in case I make an additional discovery about the individual. Glad to know you still welcome transfers.

Tyler Westgate
Hi Connie,
Hope all is well. Just a thought here -
I just noticed that the Westgate family plot in the Ladd St. Cemetery in Haverhill, is lacking a photo of the memorial grave stone of Tyler Westgate. I know it's there as I had seen it many years ago.

Nathaniel Waite Westgate Jr
Hi Connie,
I believe that Nat Westgate Jr. may not actually be buried in Ladd St. Cemetery.
I believe that poor Nat, is interred in Danville, VA.
Oh, yes, there is a grave marker along with the rest of the family, but I believe it is just that, a marker.
As it may have been too difficult to transport his remains from Virginia to NH.
I have a hand written journal that belonged to his brother George, from 1877. He notes Nat's Birthday and recalls his death in Danville. He never mentions that Nat's remains
Also, Nat's diary was offered for auction a couple years ago thru an auction house. I missed out on the auction it had ended before I found out about it. I offered the high bidder 2x what he paid for it, but I never heard back from him.
George Westgate never mentions that his remains were transported home, doesn't mean he wasn't, just thinking George likely would have mentioned it.

Nathaniel Westgate
Birth: unknown
Jan. 7, 1865
Danville National Cemetery
Danville City
Virginia, USA
Plot: F, 658

Sgt Joseph Coulombe
Hi: Did you happen to see the story on Foxnews about the brother of Sgt Joseph Maurice Coulombe, Raymond Coulombe of California is finally going to get a Purple Heart for his brother? I think if you google his name info will come up - otherwise I'll send the URL in a SAC to you via his memorial.

RE: old section
I do intend to photograph that. It was very muddy when I was there before, so I'm hoping that it will be a bit drier when I visit again.

I have no particular interest in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. I just noticed that it had a low photo rate, and I felt that I could work to improve it!

My next challenge, by the way, will be Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cheektowaga - over 80,000 interments, and a very low photo rate. I anticipate that the photography will take about a month, and the uploading about a year.

You're welcome!

That's it - for now! I've uploaded every photo I have! I wasn't able to photograph every headstone in the cemetery when I was back in WNY, but I should be able to finish the job when I return in a month. But, getting the cemetery from 24% photographed to 80% photographed isn't that shabby...

Thank you for keeping up with all the edits! I'll be back with more soon.

Edmond Rivard
Thank you for doing the edits on Edmond and family. I came across his obituary and that's were I got the info. I'm also a (3x) Rivard descendant but I'm not sure where he fits in the family tree. There's so many of them - with the same name - in the same generation! lol

RE: St Marys Cemetery
Hi Connie. We have a private group on Face Book of Patrick O'Donnell descendants. It's grown to 92 members thanks to so much documented here at st Mary's cemetery. Let me know offline if you'd like an invite! I've found much info and photos I've added to our kin at st. Mary's. FYI.

Memorial Number
75383569 This is for Martin Moran. His siblings are listed. I was suggesting adding Mary Moran McHale (buried next to her husband Michel McHale. I was able to prove that she is sister to Bridget Moran and Lawrence using DNA on Using obituaries I also discovered another brother, Jeremiah Moran - though it seems he died in Canada before the family moved down to the Irish Settlement.

RE: Memorial# 131356823
Hi Connie,

I have this burial information directly from the Franklin Cemetery records. I will be back there in the spring and will verify where this fellow is actually buried; if this is a centagraph I will mark it as such; either way, I will verify with you the status of both burial sites.

Thank you, as always.
