Thank you for checking the graves that I have added. If you have any additions, corrections or pictures to add, please contact me. As a fellow genealogist I welcome hearing from you. I will answer/and/or make the corrections in what I hope is a timely manner.|
I used to be more willing to transfer graves upon request, if I have not put a lot of work into them. I have put many, many hours into some of these families. However, I have found that most people do not even send a thank you or acknowledgement when I do this. There are a few very gracious exceptions, and I really appreciate it. I also try to acknowledge who sent me new information in the FAG bio, which I believe to be only right. However, I found that it does not always go both ways.
Many years ago I wrote a small book on the Critser & related famlies.
If you have any information or pictures to add for this book, please let me know. I know that there are many mistakes in it, since it was written long before computers became popular.

|Strong_ Arms||Thank you!|
Thank you so much for the prompt transfer. I have merged the two memorials. Your time is much appreciated!
|Strong_ Arms||Dorothy Armstrong|
I added a memorial for my mother Dorothy Rubin Armstrong including links to her parents and my siblings which preceded her in death. I also included a photo and flowers. After all of this work I came across your memorial for her. I love what you've done for her (thank you), especially the bio (may I ask where you got it from?). Is there anyway we can merge the two, and transfer its management to me? The HELP section of the website is not clear on how to do this, if possible. Please respond at your earliest convenience. Allan
|Tnelmar||Mary Jane Jenkins Daniels|
I noticed that you put in a lot of work on Mary Jenkins Daniel's memorial page. I'm trying to prove that Mary Jane is my fourth great grandmother. I noticed that you are showing that Mary Jane Jenkins married James E. Burns and had four children (from the 1860 Census?). I believe that my three times great grandfather Amos L. Burns (May 20, 1861-July 14, 1886, interred at Sandridge Cemetery, Jasper County, Indiana) was also a child of that union. He was too young to be on the 1860 Census but I found him on an 1870 Census but not living with his mother Mary Daniels or his siblings Lunetta and Wesley. I show him being 9 years old and living with the William Henkle family. William's wife, Helen M. Jenkins Henkle is Mary Jane Jenkins Daniel's sister. I hope this makes sense. I just wanted to see if this sounds plausible to you?

Thank you so much for allowing the transfer to me. I really appreciate it.

I can see and appreciate your hard work and contribution to findagrave. Would you consider transferring my Grandpa's entry to me? I maintain our family tree on ancestry and try to keep up with all the info related to our family on findagrave.
|Megan Heyl||Hugh La Flesh Memorial|
If you are not related to Hugh, would you please consider transferring him to me? I'm working on the family and would appreciate being able to maintain them so I can continue to add information on everyone. I appreciate what you have done. Thank you for considering my request. Have a good weekend.

John C. Carmichael's father died 6/1/1889 Mt Ayr, Ind. His mother was Mary Elizabeth Wright b. 1817
(maybe she went by the name Marie and was remarried).
John C. and Lucretia Boham married 8/31/1876 Newton Co. Indiana. He was 29 and she was 23.
A Carmichael website has John C. born 10/16/1847 Wayne, Ind. dying 11/15/1923 and buried in Weston Cemetery.
they also have 2 other wives Caroline Cott (no dates) and Anna M. Hollin b. 1881 (so she would be after Lucretia in 1900 or so).
Never found a grave site for John C.
I have a child: Myrtie E. b. 1882 & someone else lists an Emma Glen Carmichael with no dates.
When Lucretia died John C. was left with young children.
Maybe someone has an obit from 11/15/1923 with answers.
thank you. I will try to list Lucretia's parents somehow in the future.

I have an obituary for Russel Shrider, how can we put it on his memorial page?
|Camille Farkas||Marie Stanfield grave|
I tried to change information on a Lucretia Boham, Weston Cemetery, a week ago and today I got some notification that I'm now in charge of a memorial???? Lucretia had this woman Marie listed as her mother. I don't know who this woman is MARIE STANFIELD.
Her memorial lists:
"possibly some of her 9 children
Lucretia (b.ca 1851/53 OH)m. John C. Carmichael
J.C. Carmichael m. L. Boham 31 Aug 1876 Newton Co., IN"
I'm a BOHAM and know the names of Lucretia Boham's parents, dates, etc and posted them about a week ago. Both parents born in Ohio were from Marion, Ohio and traveled to Indiana with the family and Lucretia married. Parents:Ephraim Boham b. 1822 and Rebecca Garbison Boham b. 1817. Lucretia was born in Marion, Ohio and died at 33 from meningitis/pleurisy in Rensselaer, Jasper, Indiana. Her husband was John C. Carmichael and they did live in Newton Co., Indiana.

I have also transcribed this cemetery--and I have seen the census records. My gr-gr-grandparents were Catherine Dunmond and Simeon C. Church. Lovina was their daughter. James Shepherd died in 1851 and she is listed in the 1855 census as a "farmeress"v and a widow. Her sister, Sarah Anne Church married my gr-grandfather, Alexander Edwards. There were several other children (her siblings) as well.
I have pictures taken years ago which clearly show her name as Lovinia. I did see it this past April as well, and I guess I saw Lovinia because that was what I was expecting to see, since I had been there before. My aunt used to take me up there when I first started doing genealogy when I was 14. (MANY MOONS ago).
Hope this helps.
