Bio and Links
Bio Photo I just love genealogy. I got hooked several years ago. I just love walking cemeteries. Many old stones are gorgeous. I just love a good mystery to solve. Many time answers are just awaiting me. I just have to keep my eyes open.

I add other stones that I see in my treks in hope of helping others. If I have added one of your family, I'd be happy to transfer "management" of the memorial to you. Just let me know. Please use the edit tab on the memorial to do so. That way, I can make sure that I am transferring the correct memorial. If you notice any errors, please let me know via the edit tab and I will make the corrections. Thanks. Please be patient with me about the edits that are sent automatically. I do try to keep up with them. Sometimes I do forget to check.

I lived in Green Township, a Cincinnati suburb for many years. I walked many of the cemeteries in Hamilton County, Ohio and Campbell & Kenton Counties in Kentucky. I currently live in Whitefish, Montana.
I walk cemeteries in Flathead County now.

You have my permission to use any photos I take for your family trees. Please credit me with taking those photos as CarolS on findagrave. Thanks.

Unknown Hine
Carol S,

My greataunt Bernardine Hein arrived in the U.S. on March 23, 1881. Her parents settled in Chicago. I cannot find her death anywhere in the Chicago area and I am assuming she died somewhere between New York and Chicago while traveling by train. She was born May 9, 1880 in Nudlingen, Germany. Do you have any additional information about the Unknown Hine in the Miami Cemetery? The date in Find-a-Grave could match when the family was traveling through Ohio to Chicago.

RE: Honnert
Hi, Carol, It's Auto-Correct that does the nutty edits for us. I've found several more Memorials I'd like to have transferred to me:
Frederick Honnert # 103699352
Margaret DreDemi Honnert # 103699371
Magdalena Schaible Honnert # 22836987
Matthias Honnert # 22837008
Joseph Honnert, Sr. # 22851362
Joseph Honnert, Jr. #103700473
Wilbur Kinne # 22836907

OK, more than a few but all my family. Hopefully, that's all of your memorials. Wilbur is the son of my Great Aunt Louise Honnert Kinne Westrich.

My sister says she never knew there was another Julie Honnert and she wouldn't mind being 58 rather than 63.

RE: 1870 Census
no problem! on another note..

Thomas.. although it is documented that Nick and Anna were at Fort Walla Walla in late Dec 1867, (Thomas's baptism Record) it also shows them in Stearns County.. the 1870 census..

Looks like they went back to MN, then came to the Uniontown area later..

Me thinks Thomas is somewhere between Walla Walla and Stearns County.. what do you think?

Also seems that that was a ton of wagon traveling back then.. From MN to Walla Walla, then back.. then back to Uniontown..

RE: Honnert
My tree had a Mary Agnes Federle ( 1892-1987) who married my 1st cousin once removed Andrew Honnert ( 1894-1964). Andrew was the son of Joseph Honnert ( 1866 - 1943 ) and Mary Stenger ( 1867-1975). Joseph is my great uncle.

There's likely a relationship there. Could your relative be the same as Mary Agnes or a descendant?

RE: Memorial Transfers
Must be the wrong Julie. My sister is 63 and never attended either school. More descendancy research in my future, apparently.

RE: Memorial Transfers
Hi, Carol,
Julie is my sister. Were you at St. Ignatius? She would have gone there until the family moved to Warren Co. about 1966.

There may be more transfer requests since the editor of my family history wants me to have all the family memorials transferred to me. I appreciate your help so far and will try not to overdo the requests.

Memorial Transfers
Hi, Carol,
You seem have added a lot from St. James Cemetery where many of my family were gathered and I'd like to keep them all together.
Rather than send another request for you to transfer each one, I'll add the following to the list:
Jacob W. Honnert, Sr., Memorial #103698010
Ida Fischer Honnert, # 103698136
Justus J. Honnert, #103698010
Edward Theobald Honnert, # 103694248
Clara Frey Honnert, # 103694281

I may find more later and will make requests then. Thanks for putting my family on Find A Grave.
