**My email address has changed!**|
I have been in the curious position of being an American in Australia since 1989. I have a great love for both countries. My accent is a weird mixture of both. I remain a Yank in Oz and an Aussie in the US. At least it's a great conversation starter!
I am married to an interesting and hard-working man, and we have two gorgeous young adult children.
My vocation is education, teaching English to adult migrants and refugees. I get tremendous satisfaction from my work.
My passion is genealogy. I have been researching since 1983, a time when I had to duck secretively into the National Archives in case any of my friends saw me. The stories that I have uncovered, although not all happy ones, have inspired me and made me proud to be connected to the people who have come before me.
I am thrilled to have discovered Find a Grave, as it allows me to memorialise my loved ones and document the lives of other family members for posterity.
I am a strong believer that ordinary people live extraordinary lives. They are far more interesting to me than celebrities.
I have been very moved by the many stories that I have read on here. I enjoy reading a well-written and loving biography, and I admire people for being such a positive influence on those left behind.
Please take the time to check out a few of my loved ones, and flower them if their tales strike a chord. I will try to reciprocate. However, I would ask that you don't put a cross on my Jewish family members' memorials. Thanks for your understanding.
I would love to make contact with any relatives of the individuals I have posted here, and I would be more than happy to transfer memorial administration to family members or friends. Please email me to facilitate this.

Hi Mary Jo,
I wanted to let you know that we have a wonderful Facebook page dedicated to our common ancestor, Susannah Martin.
We would like to extend an invitation for you to join us! All we ask is that you have proof showing your lineage back to George B. Martin and Susannah North-Martin. I am a co administrator of the group. Please join us!
Our FB group is Susannah North-Martin Legacy.
Here is the link:
By the way, there is much misinformation on Find A Grave concerning our ancestors. Since our group is a genealogical group, we have correct information.
Thanks, Brian E. Bailey 11th. Grandson of Susannah North-Martin & George B. Martin.

Thanks for noticing the age discrepancy and I have now accepted your edit request. Just so you know, this wasn't me since I don't know anything about the Talcott family. I wish F.A.G. would add something when edits are accepted that identifies who provided the information.
Please add this to his biography:
here has been speculation over the years that George was the son of George Martin and Susannah North Martin, who was hanged in 1692 during the Salem Witch Trials. This has proved to be improbable.
There is evidence that he may have been the George Martin who migrated to Massachusetts on the ship "Hannah and Elizabeth" in 1679.
Sorry I don't add "May's" and speculation.

What a lovely photo you picked and placed on Norman Cosover's memorial. So many photos placed look like passport photos, and do nothing to capture the spirit of the person memorialized. You're a good example to other Find A Gravers!
