Bio and Links
Bio Photo Family history has long tugged at my heartstrings. It has also been a vehicle for meeting "cousins" and new friends as we assist and exchange data. Inevitably, errors occur so, please inform me of any you may discover on the info I have added (and I'm happy to place additional facts...THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! If I have inadvertently overlooked anyone, please know that I am sincerely appreciative of your input.) to this fantastic site directly from that memorial.

Will consider transfer of family members to "per Find A Grave guidelines "(Please contact the Find A Grave member who created the memorial via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial transferred to you. Please, DO NOT post requests on my Bio page as it is very time consuming to search for those memorials and less accurate. Also include in your request your unique Contributor ID # which is displayed to the right of your member name on your profile page. Transfers: Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested if you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree."Transfer requests should be for direct relatives WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS, this would be your Siblings, Parents, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. EXPLAIN your Relationship in the request. Any non-direct relatives (Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, etc.) are Not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not want to make the transfer. BULK surname requests should not be made. Be advised that memorials listed as famous or maintained by Find A Grave will not be transferred. Please use the original memorial page to make updates and add information.). I will ONLY TRANSFER management of memorials to immediate relatives as defined in the Find A Grave rules...this is their policy. Other requests WILL be ignored. AGAIN, PLEASE USE the "EDIT" and "SUGGEST A CORRECTION". Additional data should not be placed in the flower/token area of the memorial page. I also need an email address, or way to contact you when you send me requests and questions. Many Newbies are not making themselves familiar with site guidelines and sadly, some simply do not care. I'm also very capable of adding data so, please do not ask me to transfer and you'll transfer the memorial pg back to me after you've added more data. The guidelines also state to allow 30 days for updates. Patience is necessary as I have a life beyond this site. In the event of the same memorial listed twice on the same day, please refer to the MEMORIAL number. The lowest MEMORIAL # was the one added first, with the highest MEMORIAL # being the duplicate.

If you find a memorial has been added but has incomplete or incorrect information, INSTEAD OF CREATING A DUPLICATE MEMORIAL use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. NEVER Deliberately create a duplicate memorial.

Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together. I respect all contributors of FAG and do expect the same from them. Also, please keep in mind we are contributing this very important data for future generations so they might continue the wonderful work that we are currently peforming. The focus is assisting others and remembering those who passed before us.

I'm honored to add those who have passed into their eternal life as they should never be forgotten. ALL of these wonderful memorials are NOT related to me as I have added others I "met" while doing research at cemeteries, libraries, or seeking data on the Internet. Feel free to visit and leave floral/tokens/messages. Heartfelt thanks also to my fab ancestors!

Here is a list of our (deceased) Fallen Gravers @ Memorial #33083506 & #33083506. If you have a name to add to the list, please email Cemeterywlkr,(#46796033) with a link to the memorial and contributor page.
You may wish to visit and leave a token for them.

Thomas Nathaniel Edwards
Hi Iriss
I'm researching my Edwards relatives and many
trees say we are related to Thomas Nathaniel Edwards.
I notice that your memorial # 57774365 for him says he died in Montgomery Co., MD. Would you be so kind as to share with me your source for this info?

I have a clue that my earliest known Edwards relative, Abel Edwards 1742-1827, may have been in MD before 1771 when he appears in Loudoun Co., VA, so I'm interested in Edwards families from MD.

Dr. T. F. Hill
I don't know if you still visit this site or will ever see this message but ... My mother and several of her siblings were delivered by Dr. Tolbert Hill in the early half of last century in Athens, Illinois. I've inherited a folder of clippings regarding Dr. Hill as well as the personal letters he wrote to my aunt between the years 1959 to 1974. The letters are actually just short type-written notes on his letterhead; basically are thank-you notes for cards and presents she'd sent him on his birthdays; the last note from him written to her on the occasion of his 100th birthday. Anyway, I've copied the letters and scanned the clippings and should like to offer you the originals if you or some other of your family like to have them. You can contact me directly by writing to Corydon@charter.net
I should note this would not be so much a gift to you as it would some belated form of payment as Dr. Hill once noted to my Aunt Gwen that he'd never actually gotten paid for having delivered my mother. :(

Hartley Jewett
Hi Iris, I am just wondering if this is the Hartley Jewett I've been looking for. He was a big, tall man (10 lbs. when he was born). He had a bit of a southern accent. His wife's name was Kathy and they had a grandson that use to go by the name of Tater. This would have been back in the late 70's. Can you let me know if this is him? Thanks.

RE: Thomas Whiteside # 71364353
I am sorry I made a duplicate memorial of this person. I always look to see if there is already a memorial and yours did not show up for some reason. He is the husband of a friend of mine that lives down the street from me. I had a photo request out there and someone filled it. I'm not sure how to handle having two for the same person. I can't copy and upload someone else's photo. Let me know what you want to do. Thanks!

I have just added Cenova's parents on this, it was the last of my husband's grannies siblings to add. I've notice that there was another memorial put on maybe 10 days after this one, but I decided since this one was listed first I would do this one, Thank you
