I have been doing genealogy as a hobby for over 25 years and am gradually adding members of my family and others to Find A Grave, and/or adding personal photos from my collection and details to memorials which you wonderful volunteers have already added. I have Swedish ancestry and enjoy doing Swedish research in my spare time.|
Besides my family and its connections in the USA and Sweden, my other areas of interest are historical, war and military graves in Europe. The purpose of my contributions to the Find A Grave website is to respectfully honor and help preserve the memories of those who have gone before us.
Please use the edit tab on each memorial page for suggestions, corrections or additions.
My grave photos are free to anyone for non-profit use, and it would be much appreciated if you gave credit to Find A Grave.
Thanks to everyone for your contributions and for so promptly filling requests! I will upgrade all memorials where photo requests of mine are fulfilled.

|SueF||RE: Violet Fernie grave in Hannover|
We can not thankyou enough for placing Violets headstone on Find A Grave, my mum and sister were thrilled, Violet was mums mother in-law, my sister and I were her only Grandchildren. My Dad was Peter John Fernie and a WO2 in the Royal Signals sadly he died a few years ago, Violet join us in Celle when Dad was doing his last two years, he did 25 years all in all. We alway wanted to get back to see her grave but it was not to be. I will put a photo of Violet up next.
Once again thankyou so much, it is another piece to add to the family history I am doing.
Take care Sue

Hi BobB: I am Walter's granddaughter, Carol Berg Stanley. I am wondering if you are mainly researching the Erickson line? That is Walter's wife, Alice. I have a copy of her lineage via the organizers of the reunions in CT. Are you that person? I am particularly interested in when the Bergs and the Blombergs came to the US. I have found some listings on ship's records, but no information about where in Sweden they were from. I would love to find out the ship, for sure, and where in Sweden they were born, etc. My email is email@example.com. Thanks. Hope to hear from you soon.

Just want to thank BobB for all he has done in placing flowers and photograph for my brother Tony 🌺. I shall be coming to Hannover on 16 March and will be visiting his grave. I also think that this site is marvellous my sons and I will be able to find the grave with no trouble at all.
Thank you once again very much appreciated.

Thank you for listing my baby brothers grave. I have looked online before but never found any mention of him. I am over the moon to find his name on the net tonight so a huge hug to you for doing so, I'm so happy to have found a link to him! I can't even begin to explain what it means to me.
I have put out a request for anyone to try and take a photo for me.. here's hoping, that would be incredible.
Thanks again, l can't tell you how pleased l am!
Best regards, Bunty x

Thank you for finding and photographing the stone commemorating Amanda. My mother (Amanda's grandmother) is 89 this year and very frail. She will be immensely relieved to see this photo as I know she thinks of Amanda often and hates to think of her so far away. This will bring her a little closer. Thank you
