I have had a life-long interest in genealogy and have been actively researching for more than 60 years.|
I grew up in the northern Maine town of Caribou and, after graduation from the University of Maine, enjoyed a 24 year Army career in Aviation and Special Operations.
Betty (LUKE) and I married at Fort Rucker, Alabama and served in Germany, Korea, and at numerous U.S. posts. Additionally, I served in Vietnam and numerous short tours to the Middle East, Central and South America and the Horn of Africa.
Our son, Chris was born during an assignment to Germany and daughter Shari was born during our Korean assignment.
Retiring from the service in 1991; I was then employed in the homebuilding business as General Manager for three homebuilding companies before retiring in 2009.
Anyone may use the photos I have posted at FAG or at my site. Many of them have been provided to me by other people. I acknowledge the actual owners when I post and I ask that you extend the same courtesy if you use the photos yourselves.

I don't know who cleaned this monument but it appears to be well done and is legible! Thank you!

I just found that there are older duplicate Memorials for Cutting and Judith (Little) Mood[e]y. you might have missed them when you created yours because they have the name spelled Moodey.

I sent you a couple more edits. One is another slight change in birth date but for Enoch Little it is a birth place change. I have found this misunderstanding in a number of places concerning Enoch and other Little's born in Atkinson. The family lived on Newbury Hill (now Bragg's Hill) near Atkinson which seems to have been reported on some NH records almost like it was a separate town but definitely distinct from Newbury in Merrimack county.

Glad to make the correction. Although I do find a number of small errors like this in the old genealogies, it still amazes me how few errors they made. I am not sure I would have become as involved with genealogy without the Internet.

I just sent in an edit on birth date for Joseph Noyes. You have the date from Noyes genealogy of 7 Dec 1751. I found a record from New Hampshire state records giving 26 Nov 1751 which looks like it was transcribed from an older record in 1906. I'm sure that you have done a lot more research on Noyes family then I have, so I won't feel any disappointment if you reject my edit.
Thank you for all your work/photos on Find A Grave
