Always make sure the memorial you just entered is searchable. -- Thanks and no one has () in the name.

I think pet memorials should have the last name of the family that loved them. Will add character to the family, and make them searchable.

Would you like me to add the stone photo for those in the same plot?

If you go to the St. Charles link you'll see that a number of individuals are buried in that plot..

Old Whalers Church of Sag Harbor is in Long Island, still standing BUT is not the church Joe Carstairs built.

The church she built is in Whale Cay, Bahamas. Whale Cay is a private island, and she had to sold it. She removed Ruth's ashes, and when she died (in Naples, Florida) she was cremated as well (with the doll, Todd) and their collected ashes were sent to Long Island, Joe Carstairs's hometown.

Currently the ashes are in a tomb near the

Marion "Joe" Carstairs was the name Marion wanted to use. She went for Joe. Ruth Baldwin was her most important partner, but she died in 1937 in England. Joe brought back her ashes and built an Anglican church in her Whale Cay house as memorial, but when she sold Whale Cay, she took back the ashes with her. Todd Wadley was the Steiff doll Ruth gave Joe, and that Joe considered as a "son". She never separated from the doll, she slept with it till the last minute, and while she gave all her other mementos to a museum in the UK, she asked for the doll to be cremated with her. She died in Naples, Florida, but the ashes of Ruth, Joe and Wadley were brough back to Long Island and buried together by the sea.

RE: Brittanee Drexel
thanks for updating the memorial, Donna. I noticed one small mistake, if you could fix it for me? It reads "Her was the daughter of...." and should read "She was the daughter of...". I'm sure it was my boo boo -- typing late at night. :)
