|Carl Primmer||Harry Woodrow "Bud" Primmer, CMSgt, USAF Retired|
Please note my brothers actual rank. It was the highest rank, (E9) of an enlisted service member can earn. Bud served 32 years in the service to his county, starting as a flight engineer and top turret gunner on B17s. I ask you change the Sft to CMSgt.
Thanks, Carl E Primmer, Primmeer Family Tree
PS Excellent writing about Carol.
|Jim Alderdice||Hill and Moore Lines|
We may have common ancestors. My Mother was Ruth Elizabeth HILL, daughter of James Henry HILL and Mary Wade MOORE. Reason Thomas MOORE and Robert Alexander HILL were my Great Grandfathers.
I'm trying currently to sort out Reason Thomas MOORE's parentage is , so far, proving to be problematic. I find conflicting data concerning his birth date which some sources show as 1841 while others detail 1847. Also, the legend is that Reason Thomas MOORE ran away from home sometime after his mother died and is father remarried. I suspect (I presently have no hard data to back this up) that these incidents may have taken place between 1856 and 1859.
I saw one reference to a Sam MOORE with children similar to those in the family of Reason Thomas MOORE. Even though he had run away from home he could have named some of his children after siblings like James, Rachel, Delia and Rufus.

I am looking for a picture of Frank Johnson Troup to display at our Board of Education. He was Morgan County Schools Superintendent.
Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

Dr. Jerry Williams' sister's name is Jane Williams Foster (not Jan) It must have been just an error in transcribing.
Jane was a classmate of mine in graduating Class of 1966 from Hamilton High School, Hamilton, Marion County, AL.
Thanks, Judith Webb Mays

Thanx FH, for the Elliot updates. These folks would be my Wife's brother in law's kinfolks. He is Elliot Fuller,94 years old and a retired Marine here in Macon, ga. The story is, when he joined the Marines way back when, he only had the nickname "ED' Fuller. So the Marines dubbed him "Elliott" Fuller after his mother's maiden name.
Thanx again and you and family have a great Christmas
