I currently live in Virginia with my husband and children. Genealogy has been one of my hobbies since 1993. I enjoy researching whether it is for my own famly or for others. Most of my memorials have no relationship to me. I hope posting these online is of help to others searching for their families. If you find errors on any of my entries, please let me know, and I will be glad to fix them. I believe in reuniting family, so if you find your family memorial that I've entered and would like ownership, contact me know so I can turn it over to you.|
A special thank you to all the photo volunteers that have taken pictures of my family and uploaded them for me.
Please feel free to use any of my photographs - no need to contact me first.
A CEMETERY EXISTS BECAUSE EVERY LIFE IS WORTH LOVING AND REMEMBERING. IT IS A SUSTAINING SOURCE OF COMFORT FOR THE LIVING.
PRESERVING HISTORY AND BEAUTIFYING
ALL SAINTS CATHOLIC CEMETERY
I'm currently working on memorials for this cemetery which is a work-in-progress. On the Find a Grave page it states that 68% of the photos have been taken. However, my brother-in-law, Johnny and I have photographed the entire cemetery and there are many headstones that are either missing or unable to read due to age. Numerous headstone tablets have fallen off their bases, and footstones are broken or crooked. A large number of graves are very old. Even though the preservation of headstones rely on family, many of the deceased have no surviving family members and/or have moved away and cannot care for landscaping or markers.
I'm constantly updating this cemetery. If you see any errors or would like to add new information, I would love to hear from you.
In the near future, we're hoping to locate all veterans at this cemetery and place small U.S. flags on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. So far, we have located 200+ veterans, but we think there are many more buried here.
Also, note that if you plan a day visit to All Saints, there are hardly any shade trees so bring plenty of water. Unfortunately, the lots and sections are no longer marked. Until a map of the cemetery is done, you probably will have to walk around to find your loved one. A word of caution - the ground is not level so be careful where you step.

Thank you for all the work you have done. I have been searching for my relatives and because of you I have discovered by great-grandmother's roots! I thought I had reached a dead end until I found your posting. If I get to the cemetery, I will post photos of what I find there to help others. Pay it forward.

You're welcome. I set out to get it last week but apparently I had transcribed the incorrect plot information to my spreadsheet. Made sure to get it today.

I want to thank you for doing this means a lot. Michael was my father. I noticed on his heading he is listed as a ssg but he was a tsg. Again thank you.
|Ron Roberson||Wallace Bailey|
Hi Maggie, I was at Glenwood today and looked for the grave of Wallace Bailey as you requested. When I went to Section F Lot 91, I found a stone for Lillie Ruth Bailey but nothing for Wallace or his wife. So, unfortunately the grave you requested a picture of is unmarked; I see someone has already posted a photo of Lillie's stone on her memorial.

She has a marker - request photo if wanted
|Jim Moore||Marian Deane Moore|
Maggie: Marian was my mother. She was born 4 Dec 1912. She was the daughter of Alphonso Henry Deane and Nellie Layton Deane of Hurlock. She was the wife of Charles Elmer Moore. He was the son of Moses D Moore and Caroline Rose McGrath of Cambridge.
|Mary Hamill||Richard William Matthews|
Just a very quick question about this distant relative of mine: Richard William Matthews Find A Grave Memorial# 62623544
I have records with his last name spelled with one "T" and two "T"'s. The headstone has one and the attached death certificate has two. Any thoughts?
