I have been doing my genealogy since Summer 2012 and have already amassed a large collection of information, thanks to the internet, particularly FindAGrave and Ancestry.

My particular interest here at FindAGrave is fulfilling photo requests for Loudon Park Cemetery, especially the hard ones without plot information. I am also working on uploading photos for all "famous" memorials at Loudon Park that need them. My website (link below) is a site I created to consolidate various sources of information on Loudon Park.

I am starting to upload large numbers of memorials to FindAGrave from the Loudon Park Cemetery caretaker records, so if you have any corrections to these new memorials or would like them transferred please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please note my new e-mail address (which I am not publishing on my contributor page in order to avoid spam for a while): joecandeux at that behemoth e-mail provider owned by Google.

Hi Joe,

I am looking for cemetery lot information for a Emily Hamilton who died in 1911. She was buried at Loudon Park Cemetery. I am trying to figure out who else is buried with her.

Thank you,

RE: William Dowell
Thanks, Joe. I've added a memorial for John R. Dowell #176058810. I also found note in the Baltimore Sun that both he and Charles Andre were interred "from the vault at Loudon Park" on March 20, 1895.

RE: Miller
Thanks I just found out yesterday the rest of the millers are in new catherdral cemetery. Finding them solved the issue of the two Joseph ogle memorials. A couple years ago I found the burial records for Joseph and Isabella ogle in church records listing them at Loudon park despite someone else having Joseph listed as buried with his son at mount Olivet . I found an obituary for Isabella listing Hartman miller as her son in law but could never prove the relationship until a few weeks ago when a distant cousin found his obituary listed his wife as Sophia Ogle. So tracking down the family I was finally able to prove that Joseph and Isabella Ogle both rest in London park in section w and the stone I uncovered was theirs. Thanks for your help at Loudon you have helped me prove so many family connections I would have never been able to make with your input. Tina
