Hi! Memorial Day started me thinking about my ancestors, particularly those whom I have never met and those who fought, died, and serve(d) our country. I have always had a love of history, and, in particular, family history, some of which had some missing pieces and drama associated with it. I am very excited about sharing the lives of my loved ones whom I am now discovering, and sharing the incredible uniqueness and specialness of every life. I live in Mtn. Home, AR, with my husband and two boys, who are all beginning to have an appreciation of their roots. Paternally, my "roots" started and flourished in this country in the following states: Michigan, Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana; maternally, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Arkansas, as well as Maryland. Thanks for this site...it is wonderful!!!|

Thank you so much for leaving a token for my sister, Sandra Barnett. It was very thoughtful of you, and greatly appreciated.

If you click on "Leave flowers and a note" at someone's Find a Grave site and then click on "Flags" at "Choose a category," it will take you to a large number of nations' flags. I think there is a flag of Scotland but not on the Find a Grave flag list. I bet you could google "flag of Scotland" and see an image. Thanks.

Transfered your relative to you...maybe you can find someone to answer your question, or try the 'Help with find a grave' column at the left top of your screen listed under Actions.

Your memorials are very interesting to read. I found a memorial for a Lilie Payton in Indiana who died in 1908 and wondered if she's your grandmother's mother. The memorial number is 154780695.

I see where you are related to Jemima. She is my step great grandmother. I have some information on the Gillham line if interested. Would like to share.
