Bio

I live in southeast Georgia and grew up in the greater Atlanta area. I enjoy hearing from people regarding their search for family gravesites and I'm glad to transfer management to family members but, please, when you ask, tell me your relationship. (I'll certainly consider transferring to a good friend, too. Just mention something about the friendship such as "Friends since grade school.")

Feel free to use any information or photos posted by me in any respectful way you please.

I don't correct someone else's choice used in constructing a memorial because I think as long as it's respectful and correct in content how it's tailored should be up to the maker whether I (or you) like it or not. This includes the choice of photos. I claim this right for myself, too.

I do not post death certificates to my memorials except those for infants and a few that contain unusual interesting information. Please don't "help" me by posting death certificates to my memorials. If it's not there it's because I don't want it there.

By the way, please realize that the dates on a gravestone are not necessarily correct. I know without doubt that the death date on the stone of one of my great-grandfathers is off by two years.

Information on death certificates (except for death date) and census records may be incorrect. Much of the information on both is provided by whoever happened to be available and that person may have been mistaken about the facts or misunderstood the question. I think the best policy is to cite the source of information and those reading it may decide for themselves just how reliable it may be.
