I am a son of Roland Francis Tucker and Bernice Julia Blanchard. I was born March 29, 1947 in Barre, Vermont at the Barre City Hospital. I lived in Barre and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1965. I attended two years of Johnson State College. My parents moved from Barre in 1966 to Essex Jct.,Vermont. I started work at the IBM Manufacturing Plant in Essex Junction in September 1969 and accepted a transfer to San Jose, California in February 1972. I married in 1974 which ended in divorce in 1997. While in the Bay Area I lived in Santa Clara, San Jose, Fremont, and Gilroy. I moved from Gilroy to Fortuna, California in July 2002 where I worked from home and retired from IBM as a Project Manager in February 2003.|
I would be happy to transfer any memorials except my relatives.
If you do take a copy of any of my photographs, please credit me as the source - David William Tucker, contributor #48410222 and list FindAGrave.com as the location in which you found the photograph before posting to another website or family file. It is not only polite, but good genealogical practice. Thank you.

I am sorry if I miss led you. She was buried May 25 1993 according to town Records, Clarence was buried Sept 27 1975. Both in the Pauper section of Pine Grove Cemetery. Records do say it was a cremation burial.

|Janet St. John||John Jacob Mudgett|
Thank you, Tuck for transferring it to me and for your hard work.
|Janet St. John||John Jacob Mudgett # 116053492|
John J Mudget married 2nd, Peachy Gilmer Breckinridge Robertson, widow of John M. Nelson of Roanoke, Virginia.
They married about 1942 in Vermont. Her name would have been Peachy R. Nelson.
I haven't found the marriage record, but the 1943 City Directory has them in Rochester, NY. In 1954, they are living in Bellows Falls, Vt.
Peachy Robertson was the older sister of my husband's mother, Sarah Brand Robertson St. John.
I remember when "Auntie Peachy" Mudget died 20 Aug 1971 in Springfield, VT..
We spoke to John at that time and he said Peachy wanted to be buried with him.
My request may not be appropriate as I now see the headstone name is for his second wife.

You have photographed this family headstone. I would love to see your picture placed on wife Anita's memorial page. :)
Yes, that is because he is buried together with his sister, Anna (Murphy) Vallely, and other members of Anna's family.

Ha! I guess I wasn't paying attention to the requester's name when I sent you that note. I posted Frank Jr's photo, and I poked around Yard 3 as well without success. I can say fairly confidently that if there is a marker for the Yard 3 Murphys, it is flat and currently obscured by overgrowth. I will check again if I get a chance - I don't live very far from St. Patrick's Cemetery. Best wishes, J.O.

|Donna Heuer||RE: Carl m Rhodes in Sunrise Cemetery Fortuna Ca|
Thank you for your quick response.A member of my family line deceased since 1980 was Mary K Daniels of Eureka, California. She first married a Glen W Stinson, and then later lived for quite a number of years with a man named Carl Rhodes. I think she was married to Carol Rhodes cause I found a marriage record for a Mary K Rhodes who married Wendell Sherman Stockhoff in Nevada in November 1970 and they divorced 3 months later in February 1971 in Humboldt Co. Her daughter does not think she ever married Carl-but she remembers her Mom living for some years with a man by that name. When I saw your finda grave memorial it showed the plot owner as Mary K Rhodes. So we are trying to solve this mystery. I had hoped you were a family member who might now. Thanks again-Donna
