|Bill Dillon||RE: Benjamin Satchwell|
Thank you so much.
|Bill Dillon||Benjamin Satchwell|
Please add the following obituary for Benjamin Satchwell. Thank you. He is my great-great-great grandfather.
Amador Ledger, Jackson, Friday 3-11-1904
Benjamin Satchwell, a pioneer resident of the neighborhood of Oleta, died at his residence on the first of March. Deceased was born in Leicester, England, on the first of March 1819. He immigrated to the United States in 1846, settling in Illinois. In 1850 he joined in the rush for California and arrived in this state the same year and commenced mining on Dry Creek near Fiddletown, now Oleta. In the fall of 1852 he went back to Illinois for the purpose of getting his family. They started to cross the plains in the spring of 1853 with an ox team and arrived in Fiddletown in September of that year. The same year he moved with his family to a ranch on Indian Creek where he has lived ever since - a period of over 50 years. He leaves a wife and two daughters, besides several grandchildren and great-grandchildren to mourn his departure. Deceased was a loving husband and father, honest and upright in his dealings with his fellowmen, doing to the best of his ability as he would be done by. "Even his failings leaned to virtue's side."

Hi, Wilma. It's me again. I think I've got the Elizabeth Mooneys straightened out.
This time I'm referring to Memorial 42372183. The headstone says 1948, but the place where the death date is entered says 1949. That's what I was referring to. The date should be 1948.
Sorry again to bother you.

Hi, Wilma. I can't change anything on your page. No one can. People can only make suggestions that you have to approve.
Secondly, I sent you that message in error, as I confused two Elizabeth Mooney's. I certainly didn't mean to upset you. Please accept my apology.

This was my favorite Aunt. She and my mother were 10 yrs apart but very close until later in life. She was married 7 times but didn't have children. I was born 01/16/1946 - her birthday gift. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to reconnect her to the family.

Do not change the photo you took of Avalon's grave site; yours is better than mine.

Im sorry I just got your messages from 2 years ago. I still don't know how to get around on these sites. I emailed you the number that you were needing to transfer my brothers grave site to my page. Thank you so much! My grandparents got sick over the last few years and I was helping take care of them. Lost my grandpa last year in September and lost my grandma this year in July.
