Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm happy to make transfers. I need you to make your request using the “EDIT” tab on the memorial you wish transferred. That step saves time for me, as it gives me all the info I need in one place.

After spending a few years researching my family tree, I found very little information available on burials. When I found this site, I decided to volunteer, thinking it may help someone else researching their families.

I live in Baker, LA now, born and raised in Baton Rouge, and spent 3 years in Central Michigan in the late 1960's.

RE: Allen G. Chapman
Thanks for posting the article. How sad for the family even though it happened more than a hundred years ago.
Nothing new under the sun. People have been murdering each other since Cain killed Abel. Looking forward to when Jesus Christ returns and stops all the nonsense. Man cannot and will not achieve real peace or utopia; only the Son of God, Jesus Christ, can bring real lasting peace! May He come quickly!

No thank you on the transfer. But thanks for the offer of managing the memorial. I sponsored Mr. Chapman for doing the right thing, even though it cost him his life.

RE: Katie Agnes Gibbens Amrhein
Thanks. I have an idea who her parents are but am not positive. I probably should get back on Ancestry but I find I do not use it nearly as much as I do other websites. I am related to some of the Gibbens who are connected to the Kleinpeter & Day Families.

Hi Rita!
Thanks for the edits. Just you know who Katie (Gibbens) Amrhein's parents are? I would love to link her to them.

If you wish to transfer it, you can. I only sent the information to support the change in birthdate that I submitted since it differs from what is written on her tombstone. I included the comment about Eda to show that it was indeed her baptism record and not some other person.

RE: # 74572334 Joseph Lonnie (Infant) Hays, Jr.

Hey Rita,

No problem. I am about finished with the Dixon Cemetery. I am awaiting several edits to be processed. I did add about 25+ Memorials with the help of my pictures and using "Our Links to the Past" book. So, Dixon Cemetery is about as complete as it could be with all the unmarked graves here. I do have some photos of unreadable conditions. I hope to find a better photo shop program to help? If you have questions, please ask. I had hoped to find more answers to my lineage in this cemetery? That did not happen. My grandparents were from this area.

I have found the photo, which confirms the dates for Joseph Lonnie Hays. The photo has been added to the memorial. I am still working on the Dixon Cemetery. I will let you know, when I am done. Thanks, CBD

RE: # 74572334 Joseph Lonnie (Infant) Hays, Jr.
On this past Sunday morning, I completely photographed all of the Dixon Cemetery. I have been working on edits, adding memorials and photographs. This is a very old cemetery with many unmarked graves. I am trying to follow up my edits and photos by using the book, "Our Links to the Past". I still have several hours of research and work to do on this cemetery. I originally thought, I would find some of my lineage in this cemetery. I did find one interment, which may be related. No doubt, I have helped others to find their love ones in the future. That is what it is all about.
