Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Kristin and I have been doing genealogy for about 15 years with my daughter Sarah. Most of my father's side came from the Marathon County area, names being Zyduck, Bloom, Fierek, Orlikowski, Lewandowsi, Gusman, and Kopchinski. Most of my mother's side is from the Hartland area and Milwaukee, names being Mutter, Thon, Emmer and Seiler.

Sarah and I have been transcribing and photographing many of the Cemeteries in Western Racine County. If we have a cemetery up with names, it means we have the pictures taken, they are just not up yet seeing we have a couple thousand pictures to post.

Thank you for visiting our pages. If you have any input or suggestions, feel free to contact us.

Thank you and have a great day!

RE: Rosetta Schelhous Saxton grave in Rochester Cemetery, Wisconsin
Thank you so much, Kristin. She has a lot of descendants and I am sure many wonder if she is really buried there or just where. I am trying to arrange a headstone but finding local companies curiously uninterested. She's been dead a long time, it's true, but hey, business is business. Will let you know when I succeed. Thanks again.

Peter J Cebula
Hi Kristin. I was wondering if you would be able to add Peter's parents:
Vincent Cebulski
Sofia Cebulski (Garkush)

Spelling of last name could be:

I understood Vincent to be buried at St Ladislaus in Gallaway, Wi (Born 1847 Poland/Austria); died 1251907 in Pike Lake, Wi.)

Sofia moved to Sugar Camp (Oneida Co., Wi) and supposedly remarried. Seems to have disappeared.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Burlington Cemetery
My name is Paul B. Edwards CPA. I am treasurer of Burlington Cemetery Association. I am also a photo person for Find A Grave like you. Also into genealogy for my family and helping my wife Ann with hers. I would like to congratulate you on the uploading you have done for Burlington Cemetery head stones. I would like to personally meet you and Sarah and discuss our excel worksheet for placements and other items. Not looking to give you more work then you have already done, but want to coordinate more if possible. We have maps and listings of burials. We currently work with Rich Brower the sexton.
Need to know where you got Section numbers as all our maps used A B C D E and now the most recent excel worksheet uses blocks 1 to 17, lots and spaces. Spaces are normally 5 in each lot.
We could make this available, but you would have to understand it is always going to be a work in process.

Please call me next week. In office from at least 9 to 4 this time of year. Edwards Group CPAs S.C. 262-763-7616.

John Quinn

I was wondering where you were able to find a Date of Death for John. In a call to the St. Thomas Rectory I was told they had no record of his death.

I have only his tombstone for a record. Your source may also have DOD for his brothers Patrick and James.

Thank-you. You do wonderful work.

Elizabeth A Williams Bloom
I am not sure how or why everyone seems to refer to this woman as Elizabeth A Williams Bloom. If someone knows the answer, I hope they will post it. The woman cited as Elizabeth A Williams Bloom was born Hilda Bessie Hodgson and went by Bessie. She married Robert Bloom on 11 June, 1919. She died 4 July, 1921. The death and marriage information is supported by her death record and Robert Bloom's subsequent second marriage, both available in Marathon County. Other records from other counties also substantiate this info. Bessie's parents were William and Eliza (Scott) Hodgson. They were married 1 October, 1883 in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. She and her siblings were born there.

Annamarie Fries Binning
I was wondering if you could make a correction on the memorial for Gabriel Jeremias Fries, Sr. (1880-1958). Alf, Gilbert, and Gabriel are listed as the only sons of Gabriel and Ragna, but they also had a daughter-Annamarie. Her middle name is Berger, although I'm not sure how it is spelled. She used Fries as her middle name, and she married Glenn Alvin Binning. She just passed last week, so her date of death is 2016.
