Hi,

my name is Mitch, volunteer photographer for wargraves.

My main cemetery is the Kleve Reichswald War Cemetery.
The passion started 2011, taking my first picture on request.
After the lovely feedback from the relatives I decided to keep it
going....

By now more than 450 photographs were taken on request.
I'm still in contact with families all over the world:
UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand.
A few came over for a guided tour on the cemetery.
Always nice to be a guide and meet people personally.

At some graves I've added laminated photographs. I noticed that visitors walk through the rows and stop at graves with a personal photograph of the fallen soldier. So this keeps attention and gives "a face to a grave".
If you also like to have a photograph added on your beloved one's grave please send it by email.

I also do remembrance videos on location. This can be special occasions like birthday, remembrance day or anniversaries.
It's also possible to lay down some flowers, add a remembrance cross, light a candle.
A "last post" will be played on location.

Here is an example of a previous remembrance:

It's great to read the feedback. This is my motivation to continue my volunteer job at findagrave.com

I give my permission to use any picture taken by me for private use. For public use, my photographs may be used as long as I am given credit. For commercial use, please contact me.

Greetings : Mitch
