Memorials 38618961 & 15500356
Barbara, are you related to Donald Cleo Mahoney #15500356 & Lawanna Joan Robison Mahoney #38618961? They are the grandparents of my son-in-law, Robert Lee Bennett.

RE: James Stephenson
My 5th Great-Grandfather is also James Stephenson with a wife named Mary Mercy Young. The dates were a little different and the place that I had listed as burial was Stephenson Cemetery in Simpson, Kentucky. I had not been able to varify it though. Do you have varification for his birth and death and a photo of his grave? Do you know anything about Mary Young? Was she his first wife or second wife? Do you know anything about their children or his parents? How did he get his military rank? I would love to know whatever information you have about him.

James Stephenson
Do you know anything about James Stevenson. Did he have a wife named Mary Mercy Polly Stephenson?
I have a James Stephenson b. 14 April 1744 and d. 17 Jan 1821. Is this the same person?

W M Mahoney
this person buried at Van Zandt Co., is he related to your collection of Mahoney's? Just trying to tie in my half sister's dad and grandparents. Thank you.

Ephraim Pursley
Ran across your entry for Ephraim.... Wondered if you'd done any further work on the Pursley line and if its any relation to Dr. George Turnbull Pursley.

Wondering if perhaps this is G.T.'s father?

Email me if you've got a lead!

Tillie Rippetoe
Barbara, I ran across your memorial for Tillie Rippetoe here on findagrave. Are you related to Tillie? I have been going through some old photos of my parents and grandparents and came across a funeral card for Tillie. I am trying to figure out how she fits into my family. A ggg aunt of mine was married to a Orringe Rippetoe. Can you help?

William Redding

I tried to get a photo of your requested person when I visited Turner Cemetery on 4 September 2009. Unfortunately, the cemetery is badly overgrown with tall weeks and many of the stones have toppled over. As a result, I was not able to find Mr. Redding's stone. Unless someone comes in and clears the weeds, or waits until winter when the weeds may die back a bit, I think it is unlikely that this stone can be found. It was only by great luck that I found the stone of the ancestor I was looking for, and for that matter it was luck to find the cemetery, as it is hidden from view of the road by a row of large hay bales.
