RE: Etheldred Pollard
If you should come up with anything new that might connect my Etheldred Pollard and your Joshua Pollard, please contact me - You can also contact me at

Basically, all the Pollards in Wake, Johnston and Harnett counties appear to all be related to each other.

Joseph A. Sain memorial # 114517979 is the son of Casper Sain and Rosanna Mock. (Husband of Mary Magdalene "Molly" Booe)

Joseph A. Sain memorial # 157741192 is the son of William Enoch Sain and Mary Ann Elizabeth Pankey

Thank you. You are not the only one to make mistakes. The Sain Family is complicated and we all make mistakes with them.

I see that you have on your Find A Grave page Pollard (Ireland) - Have you been able to prove that your Pollards come from Ireland? If so, where did you find the proof at?

RE: Etheldred Pollard
Yes, Etheldred Pollard (#143896817) is the Pollard that we discussed. I have always felt and believed that Etheldred (my 3rd ggrandfather) and this Joshua Pollard (#160600636) are related, but have never been able to prove it.

I got on here to ask permission to use a picture you have taken, on my Chappell family which runs into Sledge, etc.
But I see from some of your names that we must share some surnames.
Goodwin (unless it is Theop) Savage, Scott, Harris, more than likely.

Hello Jeremy!
I ended up spending about three days on all these men of the same name...and decided it didn't matter after all...I'm sure they must share a common ancestor...or it's locally historic cousin married one of them..and that was very very long ago.
But I thank you for offering to research it.
Your probably cousin a few times over.
