Hi, Patricia. I just added a bunch of memorials for folks at Jackson Cemetery on Beasley's Bend in Wilson County. At least two of those were children of Thelma Wrye Hester. Think I've also added more that were linked to your memorials, too, but can't remember who at the moment. Anyway, just FYI.

First, I am descended through Martha Patricia and Winkfield Hill. Their daughter Martha married George Washington Real.
I had not looked at the dates you cited. It is probable that he and Elizabeth both had been married before. Being before the census listed all names it's difficult to prove much.
Being that Elizabeth left her estate to "both" of her children if may have been that because they were both his or she felt attached to both as she had actually raised both of them.

Hi Patricia, William Anderson and Elizabeth Jackson had another daughter, Sallie E.(28986009) She married Henry B. Ward (28985964). He and Sallie are buried in Greenwood Cemetery, White Co.They had a daughter Hattie (80300454), buried in Anderson Cemetery #2.

Hi Patricia, 1850 and 1860 census's show that William was born in North Carolina,
that Elizabeth Jackson was born in Virginia, and Martha Miranda was born in Tennessee.

Patrica, I found the info online, there is also some speculation that the Joel McDaniel, that was living in White County, Tennessee is also a son of Alexander McDaniel, and Elizabeth Knowles. I think some of the answers to separating the different McDaniel families lies in White County,Tennessee, is in broadening the search to surrounding counties like Smith and Warren Co.,Tn.
From what I can tell Alexander McDaniel only lived in White Co.,Tn. The problem for us is that Alexander McDaniel died before we could count the people in his household
(children). I can't find Elizabeth (Knowles) McDaniel in the 1820 census, it stands to reason when she was widowed, she would have remarried, or went to live with her family.

There are several children that aren't on your list for Moses M. & Sarah (Denton) Godard. There was my great grandmother, Sarah Marcus Godard (1868) md. William Cooper (1843-1913)(his 3rd wife), they had 2 children, and they are buried in Mayland, Cumberland Co, TN. There is also Martha Miranda Godard (1855) md. Elijah W. Price (1838) and they had 4 children. There were also several other children who died young. Let me know if you want further information.
The Godards are some of my family. Can you tell me how to get to the Anderson Cemetery?

Patricia....I believe your 3rd GGrandfather, Nelson, may be the nephew of my 4th GGrandfather, James Dickerson. Would like to touch base on this if at all possible. My direct email is email@example.com. Thanks
|Rita Collvins Mayfield||James Edward Watkins|
Thanks for picking up on that mistake. I have redone the photo and it clearly shows the E for Edward. I am still in the early stages of my research on the Watkins/Wadkins line of my Ramsey family. There are just so many of the Ramseys that married Watkins, Tomlinson, Smithwick, McKinney, Hunter, Dies, New...just to name a few. I think I will be in Wilson County research for many years yet.
Is this line part of your family? I am wondering if we connect at some point, maybe more than once. So far all those I have connected to, had been with more than one surname. I have Robert Reece Watkins, b. 1844, in my line as the son of Ann Eliza Ramsey(daughter of Thomas K and Mary Ramsey) and Wm Watkins, and a marriage record to Charlotte Tomlinson, Oct. 4, 1866, Wilson County TN.
