Rev. John Cotton # 62915180
I have found two memorials for Rev John Cotton. According to findagrave rules, there aren't supposed to be two for the same person. The other one is # 134563198 and contains a lot of information abut Rev. John Cotton who was my 7th great grandfather. Yours is the older one. I am letting him know that are two also. Perhaps they could be combined somehow, but I know that this is up to you. The other one was done by Barry Cotton, and I assume that he is related to Rev. John Cotton. Thanks.

I just loaded two images. The picture of the grave was over exposed (my camera must have metered on the background and not the marker). I did what I could to make the marker readable but it had major side effects. I could replace the photo with a more reasonable image but the marker would be unreadable. Please let me know. Also, feel free to submit a new photo request. Sorry, Paul

You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

RE: Hughes Creek Cemetery
Yes Mike..As you travel on rt. 60 from Charleston or Montgomery, there is a road to Hughes Creek..There will be a sign to Hughes Creek..Go on for a few miles to an old cinderblock garage(if they haven't torn it down..The cemetery will be on the left of road..Don't think there is a sign on the road for the cemetery..But you can ask the local people and they will tell you where it is..Sorry I can't pinpoint the cemetery, it is an old cemetery and they take donations for a guy to keep it clean..Be careful. a lot of snakes up there..

RE: Kesiah (Eades) Smith

Are you related to Keziah by any chance? I am doing research on her father and siblings to try to find out my own Eades connection. My ancestor, Mildred Land (daughter of James Land) was married to an Eades prior to 1850. She was widowed by 1860 and I can't locate her in the 1850 Census. Also trying to find out who the Howell Eades was who died in 1837 with wife, Permelia. Keziah's father also named Howell died in 1855. If you have any info. It would be greatly appreciated. I also have a Pirtle connection.

Photo request - Lydia Rider
Hi Michael:
I noticed that you have a photo request for
Lydia Rider 1658 - 1740 #5374071.
She is in the wrong cemetery. The creator has
her in Manomet Cemetery, Plymouth, MA., she
is actually buried in White Horse Cemetery,
Plymouth, MA. There are no burials as early
as 1740 in Manomet Cemetery. I have notified
the creator of her memorial once again about
this mistake. She has not responded to any
of my edits and I'm wondering if she is still
Take Care,
