I am a full time librarian and a when-I-have-the-time hobbyist graver.|
My father was an avid fan of Find a Grave and he introduced me to this site before he passed away in 2008. Memorial # 46644773
You can feel free to use creative commons with the photos I take if you'd like to use them in your genealogy or family history projects. (But please do not add my photos to other websites without giving proper credit).
Unless they are in my Virtual Family Cemetery, THEN I HAVE NO INFORMATION ON THE PEOPLE OF THE MEMORIALS THAT I MAINTAIN OTHER THAN THEIR BURIAL LOCATION.
I LOVE to find relatives and homes for the memorials I manage, so IF you see a memorial you'd like TRANSFERRED, I'm more than happy to do so, just put in the request via the "EDIT" option. (Will transfer ANY except those in my Family Virtual Cemetery). ***Also, to expedite edits please use the EDIT tab that Find a Grave provides in the upper right hand corner of all memorials. "Suggested corrections" should be used for transfer requests or other edits that are not options under the EDIT tab.***
Please do not send me requests to change the entry of MAIDEN name for Males whose name origin indicates that they are LATINO. This name is often their mother's maiden name and used for lineage purposes. Maybe a suggestion would be for Find A Grave to add an entry space for this.
My family lines are Schmidt/Wassem and Johnsen/Hale. My husband's family lines are Alves/Carvalho and Bacellar/Huet.

|Rebecca Smith||Thank you!!|
I just wanted to say thank you for posting a picture of Jerry Tubbs' grave site. I was only 5 years old when my father died and I've never even seen his grave marker. It really took me by surprise to see it here. I never even knew where he was buried. Thank you!

Gus and Stefi are my husband's parents. Could you transfer them to me? He's August J. Schmidt and she's Stefania Blazsenyecz Schmidt.

|FamilyManic||This might help your Ancestry Tree?|
Name: John Schmidt
Birth: Jun 1846 - Austria
Death: 1 May 1903
Marriage: 1870 - Moson (Gyor-Moson-Sopron), Hungary
Spouse: Theresa Hoffer
or Maybe not...Take care.
PS.. If you have international or world ancestry search you should be bale to go back reliably much further in the Schmidt family lines because of the name combinations.
Thank you for the photo of the grave marker for my husbands grandmother.

Are you a "SCHMIDT" of Hiram Estes. I ask because you maintain his grave site memorial. I am in fact a "Schmidt" relative of Hiram. If you are a relative do you have a public tree on Ancestry.Com?
All the best to you and yours.
|Hilary ||Thank You|
I want to thank you for your time and efforts in obtaining the photo of Anna Wolf's grave. Your photo has brought closure to a relative with whom she was very close but lost touch after having moved out of state.

I made an addition to his memorial, but spelled his daughter's married name wrong. It is Simon.
|maria mills||Juan Eduardo Martinez family|
My name is Maria Hernandez Mills. My bosses at work gave me an international membership to Ancestry and I am trying to track down my family which is almost impossible with the little information available from Cuba impossible and I'm a novice. I just stumbled across your relative Juan Eduardo Martinez whose mother's last name is Caraballoso. My paternal grandmother's mother, my great grandmother was Juana Caraballoso Fadraga. We are from Sancti-Spiritus, in the old province of Las Villas. Camaguey is our neighbor so I'm wondering since the Caraballoso name is not very common and I guess you could say it's a disappearing name,could Juan's mother and my great grandmother be related?
If you have any information along that line, I would be ever so thankful to you if you could share it with me. If you'd like to just email me instead of messaging here my email is email@example.com. I'm hoping you can help me. Thank you.
