If other contributors would like any of my photos placed on their memorials deleted so photographs and other important information can be added, please let me know and I will be happy to delete .|
Sometimes it seems to me that a few members have lost sight of what the purpose is on Find A Grave. To me it's not about how many memorials/photos you add so you can increase your numbers more than another member, it's about remembering and honoring a person, to share information and photos.
I enjoy adding personal information in the bio area. I enjoy listing veterans of the "War of 1812" and "Civil War" and early pioneers of the United States.
I always try to be respectful of other contributors work. If you find I have made a duplicate please let me know. I strive to be accurate. To me it's all about quality not quantity. I see each memorial as a person, not a number.
If you would like to contact me privately , please use the edit button to leave a note or leave a message to contact you... I give my e-mail when I feel it is appropriate.

|David L. Gott||RE: Abigail Robinson|
Thanks for your reply. The date of passing has already been changed for Abigail Robinson. Don't know who/how it got changed, but it's correct now. Thanks again.....

Er, my dad was the youngest great-grandchild. I need more coffee.

I'm not local at all (down in Florida) and I would absolutely love copies of anything you can find! I have nothing original myself unfortunately. My dad was the youngest grandchild of Henry's and it seems nothing was passed down to him. I do have a scan of his marriage certificate and I have a probate record his wife signed, but not his actual will. He was in PA until his marriage in 1869 as far as I know.
I'm definitely most interested in a higher resolution scan of his picture as I believe that may be the only one in existence after talking to my dad's cousins.
Thank you so much for your help!
|David L. Gott||Ezekiel Ball Parent Links|
I have created an edit for Ezekiel Ball linking him to his parents David Ball and Joanna Watkins. Could you please review the edit and accept. Thanks.
|Dana Heck||RE: Rhyn family in Hollansburg Cemetery|
No worries, they are not going any where. The edits are just locations of burials, I am the clerk of Hollansburg Cemetery and am trying to add any information that I can to the entries.

My 2nd great grandfather was Henry Jacob Slonaker of whom you posted a wonderful picture. First, THANK YOU! And second, may I ask where you found it? I would love to dig further.
Thank you so much,
|David L. Gott||Abigail Robinson|
Abigail Robinson is the mother of Hannah Ball, with her father being Ezekiel Ball, Marriage 1777. Hannah was born in 1790, and from records located at the Biographical and Genealogical history of Wayne, Fayette, Union and Franklin counties, indiana, Abigail is shown to have died 18 Sep. 1794, which would account for the discrepancy that exists between mother and daughter with the death date that exists currently at 1784. I have researched this issue to the extent possible with existing records. The 1784 date can't be correct. Please advise. Thanks.
P.S., Hannah is my fourth great grandmother through the Hays lineage to my grandmother Zenith M Hays who married Allen A. Gott, and produced my father Laurence C. Gott.

I don't know if you do transfers or not but if you do could you transfer the Rhyn family in Hollansburg Cemetery to me? They are in my direct line and I would love to connect them to the family. Thanks.

I didn't see any blanket policy for photo permission (sorry if I missed it). I would like to use the photos for Col J W Frizell in my Ancestry.c family tree # 62359126, with your kind permission.
