I have been into genealogy and walking cemeteries since 2006. One side of my family comes from southern Iowa/Northern Missouri (Wayne County and Mercer County) via Pennsylvania (Hempfield, West Moorland). The other side from Norway to Bode in Humboldt County, Iowa. Those Norwegians are hard to figure out! I also have roots in Greene County and scattered around the state. I would be happy to go to any cemeteries in central Iowa when time permits, just let me know where and who I am looking for and I will get there as soon as I can. I am also willing to look up information needed on a person at the local libraries when I go. I keep a list of requests and will be happy to add more. |
If I have added a memorial for your family and that person is not in mine, I am willing to transfer.

Thank-you very much for taking the time to go out to the cemetery, hunt down their tombstone, then take a wonderful picture of the stone, and then post the picture to their memorial! I appreciate it so much! Thank-you for everything you do for Find A Grave, and for the relatives of the people who are still here.

Thank you for this photo of Lyle and Retta Anderson's headstone from the Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.
I have added headstone photos for Frederick and Catherine Cooper (John Williams Cooper'so parents) and I have also made a memorial for a Frederick G Cooper (1927-1967) who was buried right next to John and Blanche Cooper. If you would like this memorial transferred to you please let me know. Holly

You had put the tombstone picture onto Charles Babcock buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion, Wright Co., Iowa.
Is it possible that Charles Babcock b. 1862 Wisconsin is the son of Elial Babcock and Lydia C. Dake Babcock of Janesville, Rock Co., WI. and
Denver Twp. Newaygo Co., Michigan?
He might have left Michigan after his father died
in 1887 Denver Twp. Newaygo Co., MI.
See my work Elial Babcock Find A Grave 71492710 and son
Charles "Charley" Babcock Find A Grave 88314553.
Would appreciate any help!

Thanks for the photo!

I just looked it up. They are one and the same.
"Morgan Twp aka Morgan Cemetery." as per the usgenweb, Iowa, Franklin county site.
I will straighten this out thru find-a-grave.
I am very familiar with this area and this family. famfindr

Are you telling me that there are two separate cemeteries?
They are buried at the Morgan Township Cemetery.
Bob was on the board there for many years. Their obits say that is where they are buried.
These people are family members of mine and I put Lydia & Harry up two years ago. I have other family members there also. famfindr
