|Susan (Hagemeyer) Harrison||John McKee in Stonermouth Cem, Bourbon Co, KY|
Hi! You added a memorial for my 4x great grandfather John McKee, buried in the Old Stonermouth Presbyterian Cemetery in Bourbon County, Kentucky, Find A Grave # 25386334.
I made a photo request for this grave, and someone posted this month (Mar 2017) saying they could not find the stone at all. Perhaps it finished crumbling between your visit in 2008 and 2017.
You noted on the memorial, "His stone is crumbling." Do you have any record of where in the cemetery that stone was? I don't suppose you took a photo or made other notes about it, did you? Thanks!

Yes two years ago but heard from no one,
|Stephanie||You connected the dots for me|
I have recently been trying to figure out a missing generation on my mother's side who originated in Chatteris, England. Your list of additional children born to John and Martha (Failes) Godfrey did it. Their son, George (one of the 11 children ... I only had five names) was the link. I have a document detailing this side of the family's voyage from England, originally written/narrated by George's uncle (Joseph Godfrey) which describes how all of the children but one came to America from Chatteris. Many thanks! Stephanie
|edianne4||Mary Deer Harjo Marshall|
I am researching the Deer line of which Mary Deer Harjo Marshall is a member. In her entry in the Perryman Cemetery in Tulsa, OK, you list her parents as Cho Harjo and wife Sanogay. I have documentation of her father being Cho Harjo but I am having trouble finding documentation that her mother was Sanogay. Can you point me to where I might find this information? Or can you tell me where this information came from?
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you,

This is an amazing job, finding this family, but they are not buried on Piney Road(it is a new cemetery)
-This Corpening Cemetery is in Bridgewater section, of Burke Co, About 10m, West of Morganton..
-near Corpening Chapel AME Church-on Corpening Chapel Road..

thanks- I came to that conclusion too- John was the only one that made it to a census record. Life was sure hard in those days. Women died so young due to having all those children.

have you found any records for this cemetery? Wondering if the names listed below Lucinda T. Harrell #17701315 are children born to her that died? Can find no Alabama records for them with the exception of John, age 2 on the 1880 census.
Was curious! Ha!
I wasn't curious if you would be able to take a picture of Martin Eshelman & Elizabeth (Groff) Eshelman, which is located at the Geoff/Eshelman private cemetery just S-SWof Quarryville, PA, just north of Archery Rd off HWY 122? I was also curious if you would be able to take a picture of the entrance and post it to the website on the cemetery main page?
Martin Eshelman was my great (x3) grandfather and I am a direct descendent. Do you know any history on this cemetery that may not be public knowledge? Or if there were ever records kept on the cemetery?
|Harold R||Birth date discrepancy|
The Church Parish Records for William Ralston #53432589, show baptism date of June 17, 1793.
Family Search.org has the same-
I can see by the memorial stone age, his birth date would be 1794.
Can you make a change or place a note describing the discrepancy?
Thanks, Harold Ralston
