|Larry & Edie Doepel||Clarence Palmer's Edit|
Hey there! I just sent an edit to add Clarence's mother's link to his memorial. His sister, Marion Ruth Palmer Jacobson Schnoor was my mom's mother.
This week while doing some deep cleaning I ran across my maternal grandfather's life story (his name was Erik Jacobson, and would have been Clarence Palmer's brother in law) and he evidently ran around with Clarence's dad, Herb Palmer, after Herb and Ida divorced. Herb introduced them actually.
I also found my mother's handwritten life story, and she begins the narrative by telling us that her mother was Marion Ruth Palmer, who had a brother named Clarence, and Clarence's wife's name. She also mentions Clarence & Rena's kids names: Louisa (nicknamed Wesa), Paul, Martin, Clarence Jr. (nicknamed Juny) Bill and Ruth (nicknamed Ruthie). She says she and Ruthie were best friends even into adulthood.
I don't know if you need all this background before you approve edits or not. I've been with Find A Grave for more than 13 years, and I don't ask for proof...they send 'em and I approve 'em.
I've not looked very closely for family on Find A Grave. I've spent the past 13 years photographing the cemeteries of Campbell County, Tennessee, and posting them on Find A Grave for others. It's nice to find a few relatives, tho. Now I know how all those other folks feel when they find a relative! LOL
Anyways, thanks for reading, and if we're distantly related, I salute you!
Edie (Barnt) Doepel, daughter of Dorothy Louise (Jacobson) (Barnt) (Fullbright) Sewell, granddaughter of Marion Ruth (Palmer)(Jacobson) Schnoor.

|Margaret Pickett||Christena Schoppa Burns|
Thank you for accepting my edits on Christena. I have spent some time researching her parents and sibs, and it is nice to see her joined with them in FG. Margaret
|Margaret Pickett||Hiram and Christena Burns|
Thank you for managing their memorials! I submitted an obituary for Hiram today, and edits for his memorial. Also sent an edit to change the spelling of Christena's maiden name. Have been researching the Schoppa family.

I feel like I already know you. My husband is Rev. James Edge (but I call him Jimmy LOL) We know the "Springfield" Bigbee's. Kathy Bigbee played the piano for our wedding reception, and Elaine was in our wedding,too. Danny Bigbee was just a little boy back then. My husband grew up in Rogersville, but he went to High Street Baptist Church. I've been looking up Jim's family and saw you were adding pictures to the Edge Cemetery. If you know any Edges in Joplin (or Pyles or Rutledge, they are a part of the Edge's,too...Or Edges are part of them) they are all part of-family. Well, I just wanted to say "hi!" and keep up the good work.

|LavonaLavona Shoemaker||Brooks, Catherine Owen (64690373)|
Catherine Brooks died in December 1862, not July 1862.
Catherine Owen and Henry Brooks married in Maury County Tennessee, 1818. Most of their children were born in the Maury and Fayette Counties area of Tennessee. Most of their children stay in Kentucky, one daughter went to Oregon, another daughter to Texas and a son, John F. went to Arkansas.
Is there anyone out there researching Catherine Owen and Henry Brooks family?
