Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in the Martinsville/Henry County Area of VA.

I will only transfer memorials if you state your relationship with the person and are within the guidelines for transfer.

I will also transfer any WWII Veteran to any researcher that needs them.

Any photo that I have taken, of a tombstone or marker may be copied without my permission. I took them but the families of these people have every right to use them.

Obituaries will only be added if you send me the source of the article. Otherwise it violates copyright laws and I will not add them.

Use the EDIT tab to send corrections or suggestions. If you e-mail me direct your message will probably go to my Junk Mail and I won't see it.

I am slowly transferring all of my National Cemetery memorials to FAG. If you want one or more of them let me know.

RE: Baby Boy Berg
I hadn't even thought about the possibility of twins. You are "on the money!" I looked up their death certs. That is proof enough for me. MN CERTID 1964-MN-31382 and 1964-MN-31383. Cause of death, "immaturity." They died in St. John's Hospital in St. Paul.
Thanks for the reply and for straightening me out. :-)

I have copied your message and will take it by the cemetery myself and have them check into it for you.

OK. I put a caption. You can also look at the database to see what I'm talking about:
Use only the first letter of the first name.

By the way, I looked at the photos again and there does not seem to be a flat marker in the vicinity. I'm curious since you uploaded the request for such a marker from 1948. Made a note in my files to take a closer look next time I'm there.

That is definately the correct stone but you are right, there should be a flat marker for a military person. I checked the database and Anton, Cennaro, Mary (Marie), Nicholas, and Thomas Basile are all buried in EDa103 which is the number of the stone I photographed.

When I get back in that area I will double-check on the ground for a flat, military marker. I'll make a note but it may be a while because the cemetery is very large.

In the meantime, shall I leave these pictures up?

RE: David Kittredge
Thank you Very Much! I see that photo each time I walk into the Mausoleum. Guess I didn't put 2 & 2 together with the Kittredge surname. Will definitely find out where David is resting.

Lost my uncle (named after him) in Belgium in WW II. He's resting in a beautiful American Military Cemetery in NE Belgium.

Appreciate all you do to keep the Memory of our Greatest Generation alive!

Edith Traub
This is my Great Aunt. She and her husband David Traub, my Great Uncle are together in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA and I would like to keep my addition in.

As my memorial was set up on 1-20-2009 and the other on 9-25-2013, I corrected the death date. I will not delete mine. Also, there is alot of additional information on my memorial that is not on the other. Please check out the memorial creation dates before you suggest someone delete theirs. A simple correction would do. Thanks, Joz

Edit suggestions at Mt. Hope
Jan, the information on my entries at Mt. Hope are more accurate (and up-to-date) than any other "duplicates" at that cemetery. Right now, I'm too busy trying to do the "research" on all the others buried at Mt. Hope (for our "project") than worry about someone else's "duplicate" entry. :-)

This memorial was transferred to me and I had researched it as best as I could. I have added your notes to the memorial and think that there is a great likelihood that it is the son...

RE: Alfred Albrecht
That was the only one I found. I walked a good bit but not all as I got rained out. Perhaps I can get back there when the mug breaks and I can check some more. Maybe church records could verify a marker is present. I'll try next week.
