Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been into genealogy for over 40 years, and that involves a lot of cemeteries! Bill (see Memorial #81950607) was our photographer and became interested in adding to Find A Grave's database. Without being as qualified as Bill, I now follow in his footsteps - we always were a great team!

I grew up in and around Sweetwater, TX but became that proverbial "rolling stone, that gathers no moss", especially after marrying Bill, a man in theater.

I'm eager to make corrections and additions on anything I put in; just use the "Edit" button and "Suggest a Correction" or send me an email.

If you are more closely related to a person than I, I'll be happy to transfer management to you - just ask.

No need to ask permission if you want to use my photos for personal use.

Kin to you, I think
Bessie Kate Thomas was my great-aunt. She had a huge house in Cuero that was way off the ground. We would play hide and seek behind the junk they kept under there !! We wouldn't play under the pecan trees because the pecans would fall on our heads with the pointy ends so we would get a bucket for a cap so we could pick them. Her sister was going to give me the spinning wheel that my grandmother had but I never got it. She was a very loved person and it took me a long time to realize that I could never see her again.

Deborah Cushing Baughn
Hello,

Was thrilled to find my Great Grandmothers gravesite on find a grave.com.. Family lore says she was buried in St Joseph. If you don't mind I would like to know how you are related? DId Deborah have any success with her dream to act after leaving husband and kids? Understand her death was due to a car accident. Having a huge 100th year church reunion picnic this weekend in Hurlingen, Missouri where my families roots started. Your time and response is appreciated.

KIndly,
Karina

john hayward millen
Hi Joyce.
We've corresponded before. Just noticed a memorial for John Hayward Millen in Savannah. Thanks for making the memorial. You have the death date listed as 1853 but the cemetery record from Laurel Grove Cemetery has the birth year as 1855 and the death year 1856. This is the date in my records also. And he is listed as a half-sibling to Thomas, Clara & Elizabeth which he is not. He is a full sibling, his mother Lizzie Austin and his father (my 3rd great grandpa) John Millen. Also, the disease listed on the cemetery record is inflamed bowels? Is this a result of the measles??
Instead of just hitting the edit tab, i thought i'd reach out this way. it's more personal. :)
Hope all is well.

Thanks.

You are very welcome as she needs to be with family. Do you want me to transfer the other Crosby's to you? I will be glad to.

These are my wife's Aunt and Uncle on her mother's side. She is the daughter of Syble Ruth Miller. I was wondering if you would consider transferring their memorials to me as I am working on the Hardin, Miller, Free Ancestor trees and will take good care of them.

Noble Desmond Bonner Find A Grave # is 15513100
Hazel Beatrice Bonner Find A Grave# is 15513105
