|Family history is a passion of mine. Knowing more about our ancestors and then locating their graves helps complete the story of one's life. For the last 15 years I have researched my own family history. I truly appreciate the service and time of strangers that have photographed my ancestors graves, homes and shared personal photos. In return, I have chosen to help others in their own pursuits of information especially with locating graves of loved ones. Cemeteries are exquisite places full of love and sorrow. As I photograph graves for others, I feel more closely connected to humanity.|

You prepared a memorial for the above, a police officer killed in 1929. He was given a State funeral but you say that he is in an unmarked grave. These two facts don't seem to go together. Can you throw any light on this, please?

I understand (& thank you) transcribed this information from the tablet that I had placed. There is another tablet that should be laid beside it listed Clara Sullivan & myself from Concord NH. I understand that they may have gotten separated due to flooding. Again thank you for all your hard work.

|Barbara Holz Sullivan||Timothy Sullivan Kilcaskin Graveyard|
First of all, I can't thank you enough for adding my husband's great, great grandfather's inscription from Kilcaskin Graveyard in Adrigole, County Cork. We are about to leave for a trip to Ireland and now we know which graveyard to visit!
But I'm curious as to how you were able to deciper the inscription. I found several photos of the ancient gravestones there and they're all covered with moss and lichen. Can you tell me how you were able to read it? And it seems like all the others for that cemetery are much more recent.
|David Buckley||RE: Katie Angland & Maurice Angland|
Thanks, I'm working on it. There are too many Maurice Anglands born about this time. The M indicates his farther was also Maurice not John. It should become clear over time. All birth certs are available free at irishgenealogy.ie.

My name is Neville Thompson. I do family history.The Curtis in the graveyard are my relatives. I have written a short story about each one of them. Thomas Curtis 1770-1842 married Margaret Lindsey in 1792 had two or more children, Joseph Lindsey Curtis born in 1797, Mary Ann Curtis born in 1803. Margaret Lindsey died in 1805.
Thomas Curtis 1770-1842 remarried Mary Good
(daughter of James Good and Mary Lindsey) and had four or more children, Margret Curtis born ???? James Good Curtis, born 1809, died 1872. Henry William Curtis born 1816, died 1863. Henry married Mary Gibbons eldest daughter of Thomas Gibbons.
Susan Curtis born 1823 died 1907.
Susan never marry and she lived with Mary Croker nee Curtis in Cork then move to Dublin. Susan died in Dublin and her body was transported down to Cork and she was buried in Desertmore graveyard with her brothers and sisters, parents and great grand parents. I have a lot more information and photos of some of the Curtis
