Ethel Strother
Hi Mary,
I have added the middle name, as your suggested. If you would like to have Ethel's memorial transferred to you, just let me know.

RE: Maas Children
Mary, I will pull out my book and see what I can find on the Kirschman and Maas families. Some of it is in German, some in English. The current caretakers mother spent years translating and so some of it I have translated into
English. Warren Graff is the current caretaker, and his mother loved this cemetery.

We also have a plot of the graves because Mrs. Graff made a plot of it for the church's 150th anniversary. The actual graveyard book is gone, but thank goodness she put the plotting into her anniversary book! I have a gr-gr uncle buried there (as well as my gr-gr grandparents and an uncle or two; family name is Hertzberg). He had no grave marker, but my cousin and me were able to submit to the VA for a marker for him (for free!) because he served in the civil war. He now has a grave marker.

Anyway, I'll review the church record book and let you know what I find. If you'd like a copy of the book I can burn a copy of my cd and mail it to you. I've tried to get Ancestry to publish it but they won't. They advised that I transcribe it and put it in my shoebox and then attach it so that it can be searched on by other users. I haven't done that will be a difficult chore for sure.

Maas Children

Can you please tell me where you're getting your information on the Maas children?

I have the book from the church copied and in my computer. I have Anna's middle name spelled exactly as listed in the death register in the book.

I'd love to know someone else was researching this cemetery, my great grandparents (Frederick and Sarah Hertzberg ((nee Meyer)) are buried here, along with Fred's brother Deitrich and some of Fred and Sarah's children are here.
