|Greg Stewart||RE: Josephine Hurley Stewart|
Hi Paul, I was also excited to hear from you. I am Macleod Stewart's nephew. My Dad was his younger brother William. Uncle Mac was always one of our favorites. He died in Rhode Island on April 3, 1982. His second wife was Margaret Lawson. They married on 4/19/1940. She was also a first cousin of my maternal grandmother. She died in Pittsburgh on 12/19/89. They did not have any children. They are both buried in RI but I am not sure where. They had lived in Cranston when he died. I actually talked to Mac's grandson last week. He lives in MA. I meant to ask him where they were buried but I forgot. I had often wondered about Josephine but no one seemed willing to talk about her so was very excited to find her on this site. I think Violas daughter may be Robin. Her first was Cathy but she died in the 90's. Not sure what her married name was but believe she lived in RI as well. Viola was in NC. If you want any more info, get back to me. This site is amazing and thanks again for responding.

I am the nephew of Mac Stewart, Josephine's husband. Just thought that you would be interested to know that Josephine's son, Mac, is still living at this time in FL. He is 88. Daughter, Viola, died in 1999 and son William, died in 2011. Contact me if you want more info. Josephine left many grandchildren and great grandchildren as a legacy.
