Bio and Links
Bio Photo For the past three months I have some medical problems that have caused me to not be able to do much on making edits - connections or whatever on the info that you folks have sent me. I noticed that the Find A Grave folks have done a lot in my name.

I am now back and somewhere able to get to any edits - corrections - connections that you might send.

I am sorry that I have not got to some of your requests on a more timely manner.

James B. Reed
I'm doing some research on the “BOONE GUARDS”—CAPT. M’MILLAN’S COMPANY, who served in the Mexican American War.
I believe that James B. Reed was one of the Pvts. that served.

Langdon Carter

Thanks for posting the photo, but I do now believe he is buried in Virginia where he was born and died. He was a Civil War captive and died in captivity in Richmond, VA. His wife moved to Missouri and her headstone, what you photographed, indicates "wife of....". So, I think, even though, she remarried in Missouri, she considered herself Langdon's widow and he is therefore acknowledged on her headstone.

There is another memorial for him - buried in VA. Records indicate he was buried there. I have put a photo request in for that memorial also. I will let you know if I get additional verification of his burial location.

Thanks again!

Frances Oneita Skaggs Mayes
Re the gravestone for Raymond and Frances (Skaggs) Mayes in Centralia Cemetery. That stone was placed when Raymond Mayes passed away in 1948. Frances' name was etched on the stone for future use. Frances went on to marry Walter Gibson. Frances' daughter personally attended the lowering of Frances casket in Buzzard Cemetery located in Grove, Delaware Co., Oklahoma alongside her then husband Walter Gibson.

On Frances' memorial page, would you feel comfortable modifying the cemetery for her to Buzzard Cemetery, then explain in her bio why the stone reads she is buried there when she really resides in Oklahoma?

I have already added both Walter and Frances Skaggs Mayes Gibson on Find A Grave for Buzzard Cemetery

Paul Hourigan
I kept looking for information on the "two" Paul's. At first I thought it was a just a coincidence but I found both his death certificate and the Marriage Certificate of Ona Mead 25 April 1901 and Gertrude Grigsby 3 Feb 1907. I appreciate your bringing this to my attention so it could be corrected.

Paul Hourigan
I believe we have two different Paul Hourigans. Mine is just Paul B. I don't have dates on him, but his wife Ona died in 1904. Your Paul died in 1962. I am thinking they may be part of the same family, but are two different people. Please let me know if I can help in any other way.

Booth's of Columbia Cemetery
Good morning Floyd,
there are a couple of duplicates that you posted in the Columbia City Cemetery of the Booth family. Can you please delete the extra Jenny and Virginia? Thank you in advance
