I have been doing genealogy research since 2003. My profile picture is my grandfather Charles Rieve and his father Charles Rieve. I enjoy going through old cemeteries and newer ones. I have been mainly researching Bennington County, Vermont but do research other areas also. I have some kind of relation to many memorials that I have submitted.|
If you want a memorial transferred to you please use FAG guidelines and the edit link on the far top right of the memorial, that is the only way I will do transfers, direct emails and messages will not be done. INCLUDE YOUR RELATIONSHIP AND YOUR MEMBER NUMBER. Just saying family is not sufficient - many of the memorials I have done are in my "family" also, I need a specific relationship or the transfer will not be done. If you have corrections please use the edit link on the far right of the memorial, with the new edit system, you can't tell me the source of your information. I will be verifying the information you send - I do not use ages on headstones to calculate birth dates, they can and have been incorrect on many occasions. If I can't find a valid record to verify your birthdate edits they will not be done. I verify all corrections before doing them. If you use my pictures on your family tree on Ancestry.oom or another service please state where you got the picture.
I am extensively researching the Hitchcock and Rudd families from Connecticut, Massachusetts & Vermont.

What a nice surprise you have gifted to me.
I have just been on my computer this early morning, getting my e mails.
Thank you for the memorials of my Nathan Sr. , Anna and their son Daniel.
I had no idea of them until I began the research this winter on ancestry.com.
I was very pleased to see them on Find A Grave web. I was able to leave flowers , note etc for them thanks to you reading the cemeteries.
I will cherish these memorials and add to the biography later on. It is a big research I have found on this part of my ancestors.
The Salisbury family had several Nathans and I had to re look many times to be sure of the lineage.
Not completed as yet.
Helping each other is what we try to do on Find a Grave and ancestry.com Joy Joy is a Happiness.

Nancy, Many thanks for your posting. Very helpful to me. Stone reads 1837; just a typo, I'm sure, as is difficult to read. Dick Finnick

|Barbara||Lucretia Bradley Bishop - unknown parents|
Hello Nancy D.,
I have used EDIT to propose removing Leaming Bradley and Anna Parson Bradley as the parents of Lucretia Bradley Bishop, on a memorial that shows:
Created by: Nancy D
Record added: Nov 19, 2006
Find A Grave Memorial# 16716372
I have created and manage the memorials for some members of this family, especially the father Leaming Bradley and the son Aaron Bradley. I know the family well as this in my paternal lineage.
There is a daughter Lucretia Bradley - but she was married first to Lumen Bishop and they had 2 daughters and a son. So for a time she was Lucretia Bradley BISHOP. However, they were divorced. Then Lucretia married Daniel Stoddard. Thus she would have been Lucretia STODDARD in her father's will as a descendant of Lucretia wrote to me yesterday.
Thank you for accepting this correction.
