I started doing full photographic inventories of cemeteries in St. Lawrence county NY back in 1999 and have about 175 cemeteries inventoried and online on my home page (see link below). I have copied the listings over to find-a-grave and am working on getting all the photos uploaded here as well. Its a slow process, so if you don't find what you are looking for here, check to see if I have it on my other site. Please don't add the pictures from my website to find-a-grave yourself. If you find a picture on my site that you would like added to find-a-grave, just send me an email or leave me a message and I'll be happy to add them. |
I lived most of my life in the Washington DC area where I have taken photos for about 8 years. I recently moved to Colorado to be closer to my family, but still try to get back to the DC area every now and then. However, I am no longer participating in filling requests in Arlington. Over the last three - four years it has become quite unpleasant due to a couple other "volunteers", which was a major factor in finally convincing me to move from the DC area. I will still be visiting Arlington and photographing markers as often as I can get there. Currently, I'm trying to get a few hundred photos added for markers in the cemetery each week from photos I have taken previously . I just won't be claiming requests there since I can no longer deal with the harassment and I want to regain the feeling of dignity and serenity that I used to have each time I walked into the cemetery. It is one of the most honorable, respectful, serene, and to me, sacred locations in the world .
If you would like to take-over ownership of any memorials I've created for your family members just let me know. I'd be happy to transfer them to you, but please realize that in general, edits can be made by using the edit tab on the memorial without any need for transfer of management. That said, while in the past I never turned down a transfer request, recent actions on some memorials I transferred have caused me to very rarely decline a transfer. I may decline when the requester republishes recent obituaries without permission from the publisher (in violation of item 3 of the site "Terms of Service"), creates duplicate or burial unknown memorials (in violation of the site rules), or adds inappropriate biographies which to me include biographies that are NOT about the person, but solely about their husband, ancestors, graphic details of their death, or about the history of the plane/ship/etc they served on.

|Betty Paulsen||RE: Arba Weston Davis|
Okay, I just wanted to make sure. I am related to the Davis family as far back so far as Samuel Davis and Sally Charlotte Crary. Can't get it back any further. Thank you again.
|Betty Paulsen||Arba Weston Davis|
I was wondering if the Arba Weston Davis and this one is the same person or different. He married my Great grandmother Sarah Robinson who md William Perkins after Arba's death. There is a headstone for him in Minnesota. Or is yours a different one.
Find A Grave Memorial# 63788765
Thank you for your time and help.
|Larry Hume||Request for Transfer of Memorial|
Here in Shelby County, Texas we are starting a year long project to recognize all who served in WW I culminating on the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice, November 11, 2018. If you could transfer Mr. Tyson's memorial # 57194577 it would make things easier for adding rather than asking for edits. Thanks for your consideration.
Really appreciate you transferring my direct ancestor to me and all of the research and work you have done at F.A.G. Best regards!

Elizabeth and her husband Joseph had a daughter by the name of Loventia that married a George Kelley. Together they had a daughter Delia. I'm unable to find anything about the three of them and was wondering if possibly know what Loventia and/or Delia may be buried.
My grandmother is Bernice Hammond Sheals (1887-1984). She is Oliver Hammond's daughter.

Would it be possible to add my grandmother to this? She is his daughter. Her name is Bernice Hammond Sheals.
Thanks for edits!
Thank you for all the photos you have posted on the Fuller Family.
