Bio Photo HI, I have been researching my Genealogy since July of 2000. I really enjoy visting Cemeteries and takeing pictures. Headstones are so awesome, they come in all different shape, sizes, Colors, and the engravings express how someone was feeling at the time this person died. I believe you can some what see what kind of a person was by their headstone. And sometime a headstone is all that is left on this earth. I live in Allegan, Michigan

RE: Urana Garrett
That is what I thought probably happened but I have been unable to find any records that prove that. There wasn't any information about Robert's early life in that book was there?

Thanks

Urana Stillwell Garrett
Hello! I am a great great granddaughter of Urana Garrett. I am wondering if you know where/when she died and also if you know anything about her 2nd husband, Robert. I have not been able to find much about him. He is in the 1850,60, and 70 census but before that and after that, I can't find any trace of him.

RE: Oakwood Mount Pleasant Cemetery
I'm not sure if there were inscriptions on the other sides of the monument. However I normally look at all sides and take pictures of anything that's there so I think the other sides were blank. I used to live very close to this cemetery and did a lot of work there. But we've moved about an hour away. If I get back that way I'll take another look. I can tell from the picture exactly where this monument is so it should be easy for me to find.

Hi Ken,

Once again I am asking you to delete your memorial for him as you have his name backwards and is a duplicate. In the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans cemetery.
Thank you.

Norton Bentley Ridgelawn Cemetery
Ken,

As you can see from the photo, either the name is broken off or buried under grass, but this is Norton's headstone per the cemetery records.

Alfred W.,John A., Edward D., Sally (wife of Edward D.), Edward Everett, James Henry, Eliza (wife of John), Eliza (wife of Edward D.), No Name (infant dau. of Edward D. & Eliza)

If you want the dates I have from the stones, just let me know.

I prefer to photograph and not make memorials, but do on occasion. Thanks.

RE: Chandler
Ken,

I just uploaded photos of Nathan & Rebecca Chandler from Evergreen Cemetery. I also took photos of the other Chandlers buried with them (9 others). Would you like to make memorials for them? Or I can if you don't want to. I can give you info for them if you want to do it.

Thanks Ken for connecting my Aunt Cleo with the rest of her family. My mom would be Proud knowing where her family is laid to rest.
