Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an avid genealogist and I am extremely interested in corresponding with other family researchers working on their various early TROUT lines (all spelling variations) arriving in America during the 1700s from Germany, England, and Canada. I take great pleasure in frequently assisting other TROUT researchers with their family lines.

Sponsorship of William Francis Trout
Thanks for sponsoring my memorial for William Francis Trout. I'm curious how you are related to him if at all. He is my husband's grandmother's brother. I would love to share family tree information if you would like. Thanks again! Kim Orrick

Trout / McEntee
Hello, we spoke before about my Great Great Grandmother Catherine "Trout" McEntee. (1830-1895) I was wandering if you took the ancestry DNA test. Let me know. I have lots of mysteries with mine and I think they all are attached to the Trout line.

Leslie Trout
Trout Family
Mr. Trout, I recently became interested in researching my family line. My father has a book of some research done by the Rev. J. Paul Trout which was given to his brother before Rev. Paul passed. Rev. Paul had no children and felt this was the best way to pass down the heritage. My parents had held onto this for me so I have now embarked on the journey, so to speak. I have an account. Am very interested in finding information on my paternal grandfather's (Lester Trout) twin brother Norman F. Trout. Norman was probably estranged from the family up until his death in LA. My father believes Norman had a daughter named Cheryl/Sheryl who would probably be around 70 now. I would love to know if she has descendants.

If you feel you can help please let me know.

Leslie Trout
Trout Family
Mr. Trout,

My name is Leslie Trout. I am 25 years old and live in Southern New Jersey. I am one of the Trout line beginning with Wendall Trout who emigrated to Philadelphia in 1738. In short, I have copies of many documents leading all the way back to that time. Someone named Rev. J. Paul Trout had gathered this info and gave it to my father's (Wayne Paul) brother Robert L. Trout before Rev. Paul passed away.

I have become very interested in this line for a few reasons -- my grandfather Lester had a twin brother who I know has passed away but he left behind a daughter. Secondly, I am pretty sure that I qualify as a Daughter of the American Revolution.

I am a teacher and my 4th grade class is also working on some genealogy.

I would love to share info with you. If so, I can be reached at

Thank you!

Laura A. Trout Ferges Cemetery
Mr.Trout I saw your name on the memorial page of Laura Trout.

I am inquiring in Laura Trout & her mother Lydia Mitchell Ferges.

Laura's grandmother & grandfather was Elizabeth Bandy Mitchell & Samuel C. Mitchell.

One thing I am interested in is to locate where Laura Trout's grandfather Samuel Mitchell is buried. Laura's grandmother Elizabeth Bandy Mitchell Hurst is buried in Franklin County, Ill. in the Franklin Cemetery at Whittington north of Benton Illinois.

If you are interested I would like very much to correspond with you.

My connection to the Mitchell/Ferges/Trout familes is: Elizabeth Bandy Mitchell married my 2nd great gradnfather John Hurst in 1844 in Franklin County Ill I believe. John & Elizabeth had a son Levi who is my 1st great grand father.

I am also interested in knowing who were the children of Laura A Ferges Trout & if there are any decendents still living.

You can also reach me at

Thank You, Alice Hurst
