After extensive research for 30 years, I am still searching for answers to questions about my ancestors. My families are Hendrix/Hendricks,Johnson, Edge, McCulloch, Hill, Kitchens, Neal, Roper, Rosser, Posey, Box, Reynolds, Terry, McBride, Linton, Owen, Graham, Holland, McCrary. If I have put info on some of our common ancestors and you want to add more info, let me know because sharing helps all of us.

Find A Grave transferred about 9,000 memorials to me that MULDER had entered. I will be glad to transfer any of those memorials to someone with info to add.

Pettey
Thank you for getting the grave marker of my brother, Elliott Lawson Pettey, Jr. on the cemetery site. I miss him so much. I would like to note one error I see. There is an Infant Pettey that died in November 27, 1955. This was also my brother. His name was Phillip Wayne Pettey and he lived 2 hours. He is buried in the Pettey Lot where Elliott Lawson Pettey Sr & Jr are buried. He is buried on the back side of the family marker behind Forrest O. Pettey but there is not a marker. He was the child of Elliott Lawson Pettey Sr. not Jr. His mother was Barbara Ann Johnson Pettey. I don't know if you can change this on the file or not but I just thought it was note worthy. Thank you for you time.

Pearl Armenda SMITH Overmyer
Hello,
Yoy have a memorial for Solomon(Solly) Washington Smith. Ancestry showed me that he was my great-grandfather of husband of my 1st cousin 2x removed. He has a daughter that I was just given hints on, Pearl Armenda SMITH, who is my great-aunt of husband of 1st cousin 2x removed. It shows records of her being an inmate at Bryce Hospital in Tuscaloosa Al. Do you have any info on this? I seem to have many family members, close, and distant, that have been there for some reason at some point so I was just curious.

Yes, evidently I missed your memorial for Bill. I'll leave mine up for a few days so you can get his picture and family connections if you would like to put the information on memorial you created.

Latest Yellow Fever Reports at Decatur, Ala.
Memphis, Sept. 27 - Our chief committee is prepared to give assistance to all who need it. We especially depreciate the making of appeals for help by other parties. When our committee needs more help they will give due notice to the public.
Miss Nannie Jones died today. No new cases since noon. There are suspicious cases at Hanceville, Hartselle and Madison, all Decatur refugees. I think the fever is not likely to spread in these villages at this season of the year. Mr. Busheit, at Cullman, is doing well.
