|Evelyn Jepson||Marchioness Disaster of 20 Aug 1989|
Marvin: How would you put the 51 names on findagrave. There is a list of them, their ages at the time of the disaster. But none of their names are listed any where else...Other than separately, I don't have excel or word on my machine. It was in the paper yesterday, and I looked it up on the internet and found the names. The youngest was 19 and the oldest 46. These were people on a pleasure boat that collided with the Bowbelle Dredger. The Marchioness was destroyed. The history of the Marchioness in itself is interesting. She was built in 1923, and was one of the little boats that helped ferry soldiers across the English channel in WW2. Where she ended up after the disaster nothing is known. The Bowbell, was sold to a Spanish company, and she split in two off the Madeira coast 7 years later. She was renamed Bom Rei. As the resting places for the victims are unknown, at this time...I would put Recent, place unknown. If you want their names, please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
We are so very very sorry to hear of your father's sudden passing! What a shock! Our Sincerest Sympathy to you and your whole family!!

from: Hi, this is Marvin's son Edward Mitchell. I do not know if Marvin got your reply as he passed away on Tuesday January 13, 2015 of a massive heart attack. The day after you sent your message.
By the way, Thank You So Much for the tombstone picture you took of Elizabeth (Forbes) McLaughlin last year! Much appreciated.
Hi Mavin; I'm not a relative of Elizabeth (Forbes) McLaughlin myself. I'm helping a friend with her wonderful family tree. She doesn't use the computer, so I'm trying to get as much data as I can out on the net so other people can also use this great information.
My friend isn't closely related to Elizabeth, but connect through the Forbes/Chisholm line.
Are you related? I have her tree on WorldConnect/Rootsweb.com. If you're interested I can send you a link.

|Bear Hugs||RE: TRANSFERS|
Please send an individual "Suggest A Correction" for each of the ELEVEN memorials you would like transferred, include your ID#.
That will help me immensely and ensure I transfer the "right" memorials. (I will only have to "cut and paste" your Member number and not switch back and forward between memorial number and member number eleven times which would require 22 "cut and paste" actions)
Thank you for your understanding.
|Bear Hugs||RE: RELATIVES|
Happy New Year Marvin!
Thank you for your kind words, they are greatly appreciated.
I am not related to those families, please send individual "Suggest A Correction" for each memorial you would like transferred, including your ID#. That will help me immensely and ensure I transfer the "right" memorials.
Thank you for everything you are doing to preserve the memory of those that have gone before.
|Evelyn Jepson||RE: Re: Evelyn|
