Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started adding memorials to Find A Grave because I believe that everyone should be remember, even if there's no one left to mourn.

I'm using cemetery records to add memorials to Find A Grave. I'm also adding headstone photos, obituary transcriptions, and family links when possible.

If you have any questions, want to add any information or links, or correct any information, please use the 'Edit' to send the request. It makes it so much easier.

With permission, obituaries on the memorials that I've created have come from published obituary books written by the now late Wendell Tombaugh and Jean Cragun Tombaugh.

HAPPY hunting....

His half sister Alice Amanda Fites was married to my great Uncle Peter Zegafuse. So I am related to him through marriage on my Grandpa Frederick King. His mother was Juliann Zegafuse and his dad was Charles(Carl) King. Kathleen Ann Miller Thomason.

Re: Eliza Bixler
Good Evening April,

Thank you for transferring Eliza to my care. I don't recall requesting her, but will take good care of her nevertheless.

Zeigler versus Hartman

This is an automated email letting you know that your recent edit for the Hulda Zeigler (1852 - 1909) Find A Grave memorial has been declined.
General reason: Content submitted does not belong in this data field.

Link to memorial:

Can you explain to me why Hartman was not her last name when it is in the obit? I know there has to be a reason I just do not know what it is.

Thank you very much for adding the note to my great uncle's memorial correcting the parents listed in the obituary. We tend to think that obituaries (and gravestones) are absolutely correct, but their informants occasionally make mistakes too.

Missplaced stone
Thanks for the advice. I am going to make one more trip to the cemetery & if it hasn't been moved I will have to do something. As far as I am concerned, there is no excuse for not having had adequate time and warning to move it.

RE: Ann Theresa Poole
Sounds fine to me. It just happened that I seen it. Maybe her family was too upset to notice it. I don't know but if I were a close relative I would make the place that made it fix it. I've been dealing with a place that put a headstone I ordered for a family member in the wrong place for a year now and it hasn't moved to where it should be yet so I know how difficult these things can be to get corrected. Ann Theresa Poole
Here is what is on the death certificate. I would send it to you but they won't let you do that on this site. I can post it on her memorial page but if I do I will remove it after you see it because the girl had Down's and I think some things are personal--this being one of them. She was 20 & the information was given by her father so I would think it would be correct.

Ann Theresa Poole, female, white, 20, never married, unemployed, resident of 4240 N. Park Ave, Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN, Born 5/16/1965 to Edward K. Poole & Madolyn F. Devassie. Informant: Edward K. Poole, father, 4240 N. Park Ave., Indpls., Ind. Died as an inpatient at IU Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN. Died Mar. 4, 1986 at 5:10 a.m. of Cardiovascular collapse due to overwhelming sepsis (unknown organism) of 3 days due to Acute Myelocytic Leukemia of 4 months duration. Other significant findings Down's Syndrome. James L. Lewis, M.D. Burial Mar. 7, 1986 at Grass Creek Cem., Grass Creek, Ind. by G. H. Herrmann, 5141 Madison Ave., Indpls., Ind.
