I've been involved with my family's genealogy research for many years and found cemetery records - and headstone inscriptions - to be quite helpful. I also found that many of the graves of my relatives had no markers and feel that by posting those sites on Find A Grave, I'm helping to honor the memories of those deceased. Since I've also had a great deal of experience in photography, I try to help others with their genealogy research by fulfilling requests for cemetery marker images whenever possible.|
If I've created a memorial that duplicates one already in existence, it is not done intentionally. Please let me know if that occurs and I will remove mine as soon as possible.
If I've created a memorial for one of your relatives, and you'd like me to transfer management, let me know.

Thanks so much for taking the photos at Maple Grove of Kate Hogan's marker. She is my paternal great grandmother, and I have been doing genealogy on the Hogan side of my family for a few years. Having photos like this helps me to feel a little more connected to the people I'm researching.
Again, thank you very much for the time and effort!

I recently discovered that some of my ancestors and relatives are buried in Maple Grove Cemetery. I was wondering if you would be kind enough to take pictures of their graves for me? I would greatly appreciate it.
Their names are:
I submitted photo requests for them on FindAGrave.

I saw the huge list of requests for this cemetery and immediately felt discouraged. I have been working on geneology for my direct ancestors and called the Cypress Hills Cemetery for information. They provided me with interment dates, but and hoping to find birthdates, relationships, etc. They do NOT want to go out and photograph for me. Will you??? I am looking for Hough, Pangborn, Glass relatives in W 1/2 Lot 265 Section 5. There are 24 graves in this section with tons of my relatives. Thank you in advance for considering my request. I am new on Find A Grave and I was wondering if you know how to attach my Mothers Find A Grave her Memorial #: 21199998. and my fathers Find A Grave Memorial#: 7672210 pages together so they show up like Husband and wife and not like to strangers I put the Memorial numbers in message just in case it might be easier if you can do from where you are and if not can you please tell how it is done or who I need to contact to make this happen.
Thank you so much
Sincerely Eileen Hamilton.

If I never thanked you, I apologize and thank you now for posting the photo. I know how hard it can be to find these. Thank you again. It means a lot.

Hi. I see that you posted a photo of the cemetery for Lucinda V. Willson at Cypress Hills Cemetery. Did you find a headstone for her? I got the master list of the Wilson's buried there from the main office when I visited the cemetery a while back. I was born on LI and visit family there and currently live in AZ. I was only able to find her husband's headstone, Winthrop Wilson. Winthrop and Lucinda are my 4x great grandparents.
Also, you have her name listed as Lucinda V Van Zeb Willson. I only have Lucinda (Vreeland) Wilson. Vreeland was her maiden name. I am wondering where the Van Zeb came from? Headstone or document?
Thanks, Liz Lynch
