Bio and Links
Bio Photo *+*+ I saw this Headstone and could not resist.

Born in Trenton, Nova Scotia, Canada, raised in Los Angeles since age 5. I concentrate my efforts at Westwood Memorial Park, Forest Lawn Glendale, Hollywood Forever & Los Angeles National, Holy Cross, Culver City, Hillside Memorial Park.

I produce a high volume of memorials and photos with a good chance I have made some errors along the way. I ALWAYS welcome corrections!
***When I take a photo for a request, I take the time to trim and clean the headstone. I average 700 random photos each time I go and do my best to make sure the headstone is readable. I do not clean and trim each one. I personally like the natural (as it stands) look rather than doing what should be done by the cemetery.
If anyone wants to manage a memorial I created that is not a family member or friend of mine, just ask. I don’t understand those who feel the need to hoard and control every memorial.

If anyone wants to use ANY photo I have posted to their family tree can do so without further permission. Anyone who feels the need to charge for photos that offer a family a small piece of their (key word their) family history needs to rethink their values. No disrespect meant. I offer my photos to anyone else for publication for free with proper photo credit.

RE: Sad news
That is AWFUL!!! We talked for a LONG time before the tour started. There were people that were making fun of his mismatched socks. I told them how adorable his socks were and how they reminded me of Abby on NCIS. Then I explained to those who didn't know about the show about Abby and Monday mismatched socks day. We had lots of laughs and we talked about Abby on NCIS. I will ALWAYS remember him and I have mismatched socks, too. I am very sad.

Dear Romper,

I noticed that as well. I have a copy of the U.S. Veterans Gravesites ca. 1775-2006. Which says 27 Oct 1963. (Someone has made a mistake somewhere). I will ask my Great Aunt who is 90, and would have been his first cousin 1x removed if she remembers any of these dates.)

Thanks for your attention to detail.

I'm so sorry James he was definitely one of the good ones. I've known him for the last 17 years and he's always been someone I was happy to see.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear this. I had no idea. Thank you for telling me. If you hear of any funeral or Memorial service I would love to know.

Sad news
Hi Jayne, Not sure if you knew or worked with Jim Davis, however, he passed this morning. His Taph hang out was Hollywood Forever. I am so sad as he is a dear dear friend. James

RE: Sad news
I'm so sorry to hear this and for your loss. I did work with him occasionally. Very sad indeed.

Was he at the cemetery tour with us?

I am horrible at names - never forget a face but forget names.

One guy that stands out at the tour is a guy who wore "happy socks" - mismatched socks and sandals. Reminded me of Abby on NCIS. Can't remember what season but she was under a car with mismatched socks and she told Gibbs it was Monday - mismatched sock day. Think it was in the early years of the show.

Leonard Conn
Hi there,

Would you please add this person to Hollywood Forever. For some reason the site will not allow me to add him:

Leonard Conn
B: August 28, 1911, Chicago, IL
D: December 10, 1944 Hollywood CA

Abbey of the Psalms (#231, but NOT sure which section, I want to say Sanctuary of Refuge but not sure.

A conductor and arranger, Conn started with Carl Huff's band and later joined the staff of WBBM in Chicago where he conducted orchestra arrangements and set up music programs. He moved to Hollywood and was the music arranger for CBS and KNX and also played ‘Monday Night at the Palladium.’ Conn died in a car accident.

Harry W. Redmond

thank you very much for taking this photo. Harry w. Redmond is my husband grandfather and we are researching his history. There is some discrepancy regarding his birthdate, so hopefully this clears that up.
