Opal Wilkins
Unfortunately William & Opal Wilkins do not have a headstone. I pulled the cemetery records from the historical soc & compared names with #'s to find the correct placement. I added the names in case someone is visiting & would like to know exactly where they are. Have a great spring!

James Barnes
I was at the Dunsmore Cemetery in Antrim County, Michigan today. I found a marker for James W. Barnes, born 10/23/1837, died 4/16/1911. Could this be the father of your James Barnes? There were several Barnes in the cemetery, but not the one you are looking for.

Nila Fruchey
Hi, I took a photo of the monument for Nila Fruchey today, but as there's no death date I'm wondering if she's still living?

Laura Treadwell Photo Request

I checked the transcription of Bly Cemetery at the Three Rivers Public Library for Laura and did not find a listing. Records from before 1917, I believe, were lost in a fire. If there was a marker still around when the transcription was done, she would have been included. Records were obtained from Lansing as well, but were sketchy. All this is to say that she might be buried in Bly and not have a marker anymore.

There is also another possibility. If she had any other surname at one time in her life, she could be buried under that name. I have found people buried under their maiden name as well as first or second married names. Any additional information you have for her might help me find her.

Photo Requests at Inglewood Park Cemetery
Hello. This is just to let you know that there are only 3 volunteers who go to Inglewood and the photo requests are getting behind, mainly because most of them do not have locations. We'd like to get them caught up, but getting more than 10 locations per week is difficult, as the staff is very busy. If you can, would you please obtain the locations for the ones you have requested? That would really be helpful. The less we have to bother the staff, the better.

They will give you one or two locations over the phone, but it is better to email them. You can go to the cemetery's own website and request locations from there.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Please refer to the
the "What kind of photos may be added to a memorial page?" FAQ. The first sentence states "You may add a grave photo of the headstone or a portrait photo containing the memorialized." and the "General Rules" section includes "No screen shots from other websites" and "No scans of obituaries or newspaper articles."

Given the above site policy, kindly remove this obituary:

I fulfilled your request for her burial location. The Headstone is of Calvin Thomas. There is a closeup headstone pic and a pic of the full grave location.

This is a response to your photo request for Nellie M. Pipher. Records show Nellie was buried in block 141, plot 40 in Oak Grove cemetery. This is the Potter's Field area of the cemetery. Records also indicate plot 40 is owned by Esther Udell. She is located a couple plots south of Jerry and Effie. There is no memorial for Nellie.

Jacob Trout
I believe I found the marker for Mr Trout at
Prospect Hill Cemetery at Winchester, Va. I took a photo, but if you look up the cemetery, they have one posted.

You can request a new photo thru the "request photo" method. I cannot get to this cemetery at this time.
