I saw your note on Isaac's memorial, so I thought I'd take a moment to answer your question. Find A Grave has a rule that transfers only go to people who are related by four generations or less. This includes only to 2nd g.grandparents. If more than one person is requesting the transfer, it goes to the closer relative. Some managers are very rigid on thise rule, but there are many others who are more lax.

I've run into one contributor who won't even accept my edits on family who are even closer. Her excuse is that I'm using Find A Grave to do my family history, and that's not the purpose of Find A Grave. I found out later that there are people who do use Find A Grave exclusively to build their trees, but I have no idea how they can and expect any amount of accuracy.

Anyway, I thought I'd answer your very legitimate question.

Denver& Regina Gray, Hello,

Good luck in your research. How is Martin Walpole related to you? He's my Grandmothers Anne Walpole Carroll father.

Let me know if you found anything of interest.

#17858086 Martin Walpole
Dear Denver & Regina Gray:
Martin Walpole is my Gr, Gr, Great Grandfather. Wondering how many children did Martin and Margaret Walpole have?
Archives.com shows that there are 10 children. I'm questioning if this accurate, because two of the children's birth date show they were born four months apart. So did Martin have a daughter Anne Walpole Carroll. She was born 7/1824 and died 2/2/1903.

Also do you know if Martin or Margaret Walpole came to America with any relatives ....like parents or siblings?

Sincerely,
Teresa L. Westrick Medina
P.S. This family is on my Mom's, Emaline Carroll Westrcik, side of the tree.

Corp Charles H. Krebs
Hi,
Thank you for all the time and dedication with regard to the Krebs family and Find a Grave! I can't imagine 12 children! Lydia Krebs and James Edward Newman are my 2nd great grandparents, how are you related? May I have your permission to use your photos in my family tree? Presently, I am trying to link memorial pages of my loved ones with their families. I am curious as to why there are two memorials for Corp Charles H. Krebs?

Krebs, Corp Charles H. 17254769

Good Hope Cemetery
