Everyone - Please use your "request a headstone photo" button to request a headstone photo of every person related to you. (Check to see if someone already requested a Findagrave photo before clicking request a photo)|
Once everyone related to you already has a headstone photo request...please use your "headstone request" option to request a headstone photo of random people not related to you. I request photos of veterans and children not related to me but I also just randomly choose anyone.
The goal is to have a headstone photo on every memorial (assuming they have a headstone) Thank you

Hi. Would you please remove your request for this individual? He is not buried at Morris Hill, Boise, Idaho, and the cemetery has done all that you could wish to search their records. He is not there. The Findagrave system no longer removes requests when they cannot be filled, and it is cluttering up the page and confusing folks. No one is going to be able to find him there. It no longer serves a purpose. Please cancel your request. Thanks so much!

Sorry i don't know anything on this person
|Kathryn ||Was father Thomas Shepherd?|
At one time I got Thomas Shepherd's will and it states that his daughter Mary was married to two men, neither of them John Van Cleave. Her second husband I know was a Buchanan. I am about to enter into some additional research on this as it has confused me for a long while. Could we stay in touch?
I'd like to talk if that is possible.

|Paul Lambert||RE: Burial Unknowns|
Thank you for your message. I am not aware of any rules prohibiting anyone from posting burial unknowns. If there are, I couldn't find any such rules now when I looked. If it is prohibited, then why is it an option to select that? Let me explain something. I work full-time and I have a young child at home. I do not have a lot of time to do extensive research, or a lot of money to request death certificates and other documents. I maybe get a few minutes here and there to work on my ancestry work, that is it. I don't recall this site only being open to those who can devote more time and resources to this. I do update the entries as I find out burial info. I also find that sometimes when I post the burial unknowns, someone will reach out and provide the missing info, which I then update the records with. All records posted are for people either in or directly connected with my family, parents families, grandparents families, and great-grandparents families. I am not putting random people out there. I do the best I can with the time and resources I have.
|Marguerite||RE: Winston BUBY|
Yes, I'm aware that the last name is BUBY. You will need to contact the cemetery office at the Mayfield Twp. http://www.mayfieldtownship.com/
You can also call the Lapeer Library for burial info & plots at Mt. Hope. I live over 40 miles away and a hour drive so I don't get there often with the limited office hours. When you get the plot No., provide it so the headstones can be photographed.

Thank you very much..i've added the bio your provided and made some updates. Thank you VERY much!
Hi, Thanks for the heads up! I have contacted the administrators at Find A Grave. They will take care of it. I have found that they prefer to merge rather than delete.
Please release the memorial for Charlotte Ann Bosch Mathis to me. I would like to add her Parents and siblings to this site. Thank you
|Mary Briggs||Fairview Cemetery in Antrim Co. MI|
Hi, Please understand that Fairview is very large. It is divided by a highway not a road, very fast traffic. It won't make any deference which side of the road you request a headstone picture to the person taking photos As far as the people in the office finding their records, the whole cemetery is an A to Z list. As a photographer answering your request this is what I do. I walk the side you think is the right one first. Some people do know where their family graves are because they have been there. If I don't find your family graves, I walk the other side of the highway. The nice part is when people come to visit they will only need to go to the side where I took the picture. Some of the visitors would find it overwhelming to look on both sides. Just in case you are wondering, the two parts of the cemetery did not start burying at the same time. South side first. All the old graves i.e. Civil War veterans are buried on the south side. I hope I can find your requested headstone tomorrow. I'll enjoy looking for it. Mary Briggs
