|Bio and Links|
|Update 30 May 2017: Woohoo! We finally have internet at our house! It will take a while to get caught up with the backlog of emails and SACs, but at least I no longer have to drive into town to the cafe to connect to the world!|
This is my way of honouring the dead who might otherwise be forgotten. It's always a thrill to be contacted by researchers who appreciate finding their missing family members. Where possible plot information is included to help family and friends locate their loved one. Marker or monument photos show what the grave looks like today, especially helpful for those people who are unable to visit in person. Sadly, sometimes the photos document vandalism.
Now that Ancestry allows copying of photos from Find A Grave to Ancestry trees, I can no longer object to cross-posting between the two sites. You may NOT copy and paste the photo or content to any other site. This includes screenshots.
Due to my photos and bios being lifted and posted to other websites without permission and/or attribution, I have been forced to add a copyright notice to all of my photos. I may have missed a few, but consider them all copyrighted. When I find them on other sites, I absolutely do file a take-down notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
I no longer make out-of-guidelines transfers. As always, I am more than willing to make links and replace my bio with a better one. I do not link to dupes, nor to burials unknown. And please use the edit tab to Suggest A Correction!
The Royal BC Museum has posted many BC Archives BMD certificates online. Familysearch.org has ***used to have*** BMD certificates. If the one you need is not on a website, I am willing to check the microfilms at the Nelson Municipal Library for you, although it might take some time for me to get there.

Thank you for your kind suggestions regarding Walter. I have changed his burial place, as you suggested and will follow up on documenting this change.

I believe that Alpha Lindgren Gustafson was my grandfather's (Axel Gustafson) first wife. They were married in Spokane Washington only 3 months before her death. Based on the marriage certificate, I think that her last name was spelled Lindgren, not Lingren and her mother's name was Augusta, not Alpha.

|Sheri-lyn Westlund-Burton||GOTTFRED WESTLUND|
Question: Is it possible that Gottfred Westlund was married to Edla Granfors before she was married to Gunner Grandfors? Since there is a Willfred Westlund listed buried on their headstone and Gottfred's headstone says that he is the husband of Edla. It is just a thought.
|Stephen Kronberg||Clarence Bushnell at Acacia|
Thank you for the BC marriage info for Clarence to Maud Kathleen Adams Henshaw. I find no death record for her in Washington State, did she by chance pass in BC? Thank you, Stephen

Hi- I write a private blog for my husband's siblings. Jessie was my husband's great great aunt. May I share this photo with them? Of course, citing you as the photographer.

|Dennis McMurray||William Edgar|
Thank you for your repeated attempts to find William Edgar's grave and making the date correction on his bio.With no record of family with him in Canada it may be there simply wasn't anyone to put a marker. Thank you so much for your attempts, it does mean a lot. Dennis McMurray
