I've been working on photos and memorials for a cemetery near where I live. Some are also from other cemeteries I've visited, where maybe the style or age of the marker caught my eye. And I've got a few relatives included also. But many of my memorials are people I've never known. If you have additional information, corrections, or would like to transfer ownership, let me know.

I've been trying to post photos for all the memorials I do. You're welcome to copy or print any of my photos, or post them on other websites if you like. In many cases, I've got higher resolution or uncropped versions on my computer; email if you need anything.

Hi Stephen,
I was wondering if you can help me out on your graveyard visits...My great uncle Joseph Boak {1857-1896} died 8th August 1896 at an Asylum in Phoenix,Arizona and I've been trying without success to find his grave...It possibly might be unmarked...

kind regards,
John Boak.

Hello--I am thinking that this is the grave of my great-great grandfather. He was born around 1834-1836 in Georgia, and moved to Stony, Denton County Texas between 1870-1873. The family is on the 1870 census in Georgia, but their last child was born in Stony. The thing that makes me think it may be him, is that this last child, Martha, married a man Thomas Lewis Blewett. He and Martha are buried in Littlefield, TX, not in this cemetery, but the name seems like a big clue to me. I notice that you questioned he was born in Dallas. I was wondering where you got this information. I've been trying to track this guy and his wife down for a long time, and if he's the right guy, that'll be huge for me!
Thanks for listing this memorial, and for any help you can offer.

I put a photo of Horace Smith (my Mother's 1st cousin) on his memorial. I thought it would ask for you to clear it but it did not. Sorry if I skipped the appropriate process.

William Alfred/Alford Riggs not Arthur
Currently his name is listed incorrectly as William Arthur Riggs. His wife, Mittie Pearl Ballard Riggs, has written in their family Bible as his middle name being Alford in one spot and in another as Alfred. Several of their children have said that is middle name was Alford, which is shown on his death certificate. His death certificate shows his middle name as Alford. Mittie Pearl Ballard Riggs also has handwritten notes listing his name with both middle names. Never has his middle name been William Arthur Riggs. Please correct, I am a granddaughter. Thank you!

Grady Wesley 'Shorty' Schell # 20849620
I just discovered Find A Grave and it is awesome
This is my Uncle my father being the Raymond Schell that is listed in the obit.
Their mother had died and the older kids were to take care of "Shorty' and he never came back from the war. My dad never got over it until he told me a few days before he died in 1985 that their mother (Emily Landers Schell) came and told him she forgave him.
We had never been allowed to talk @ him or her and finding this -- well I've done our family tree and will share with anyone -- but this is the best thing I've EVER FOUND & I have YOU & Find A Grave to thank.
